Great Course For Spring
This is the second time I've played this course. It's a great course and my Amenities rating of average is only because the the halfway house was understandably closed in light of the weather and the early season.
Tough, but fun
Bring extra balls! Difficult but fun course. Conditions not great due to early season, but always well maintained in season.
Awesome
The guys and I can always count on a great time at this place and for sure it’s our go to!
Great course
Challenging, unique course in middle of suburbs. Right up there with the nicest public courses.
Great time at Seven Bridges
Really nice round, leaves are starting to turn colors, but are still mostly on the tree. Aeration of the greens made putting s little adventuresone, but to be expected this time of year. Lots of water hazards on the back 9, so hittng straight and laying up is the smart strategy.
Aerated greens
They will never volunteer that the greens have been aerated and they didn’t even bother to sand them. Tee to green was fine but putting was pointless.
Good course
Back nine tough. Only complaint was no driving range to warm up at.
Always a treat
Can’t say enough about how challenging this course is. It has something for everyone front tees if your not a 80’s player and back tees to challenge almost any level.
Truly enjoy how well kept the course always is.
Fastest pace for a weekend
Played it a few times already this year. Was expecting a 4.5 to 5 hour round for a finally nice Sat afternoon. My wife and I were pleasantly surprise that we were able to finish in 3.5 hours as a twosome without playing through any groups. Course in good shape considering the rain we have been getting.
Really nice course
This really is a great course. The course was in great condition. Fairway, greens, and the rough all really well kept. The sand was brutal in some spots but how do you stay on top of that with the weather we’ve had? Staff is extremely friendly especially the ranger. Both times I’ve played here the pace of play was fantastic. I’m not sure if they really keep it spread out like that or if I’ve just been lucky. The only real issue with the play was green speeds. They were wildly inconsistent. One hole it would be super fast and the next the complete opposite. Very strange and kind of aggravating. Other than that the only thing is the bathrooms on the course could be better attended to. Oh, the carts.... the gps is fantastic. Distance to the pin saves a lot of time on the course. However the carts have a disabling system that is beyond frustrating. I understand getting too close the greens but there are way too many unnecessary forbidden zones. Like the rough in many areas, some holes alongside water the carts go into limp mode is you come with 50 feet of the water in the fairway. Other times you’ll be driving on the cart path and the carts do the same thing. I think for the money it costs to play this course, it’s unlikely you’re getting too many players out there that don’t respect the game and the general rules to acceptability with regards to where you should and should not go in the carts. Still the course is great. Except holes 10 and 11. They shouldn’t be as difficult as they are, at least for me. I’d be alright if they somehow were wiped from the face of existence.
Nice course!
Course is in good shape and pace of play was good ( I teed off at about 4pm). Staff is friendly and makes an effort to chat you up at any opportunity.. carts are nice with heavily padded seats and an easy pull down cover for clubs if raining (which it did). Cart also has gps and will slow you down if you are in an area that they dont want you to be and screen warns you too.
Would be happy to play here again.
