Booked a single on golf now only to be told I’d be paired up with another group guy in the pro shop was pretty adamant about it . Fairways are nice a few elevated tee boxes and course layout was nice. Greens were soft and slow hard to get the pace of them down.
The course is well maintained.
Greens were freshly mowed and lots of lumps of grass on greens. No way to putt.
Nice Course
Greens could use a little work, but other than that it’s great. Fantastic pro shop as well.
Very Good Experience
Had a good experience for my 5t play at the course over the past 8 years. Course was in the best condition so far. Although not my first time there, I got confused between holes #6 & #7.. Signage "Next Hole arrow" there could help first timers or infrequent players.
Oaks update
Play this course a lot, it is a beautiful course early in the year, At this time of year it is played on very heavy, has a lot of divots that are not getting repaired and in return, greens are in very rough shape, fairways are pretty decent but need to be resown where damaged and also carts on fairways in very wet conditions are tearing the course up dramatically
Slow play
I play this course 3-4 times a week. I've encountered the same group of four now that doesn't have the courtesy to let a faster playing 2 some play through. You would think people in there sixty's would know enough about respect for others, but that's not the case.
Hi, u6412754. Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the poor experience you had during your visit. Your feedback about the course is important to us. We are working to get everything up to par. We have projects ongoing to recover the fairways and greens. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game, and we will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Country Oaks Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
