About
One half of Sugar Ridge Golf Club is situated in extreme southwestern Ohio while the other half winds up into the Indiana hills. The border location may be unconventional but the setting provides a dramatic backdrop. The course sprawls across rolling hills that are abundant with wildlife. Wild turkey and deer have been known to roam the golf course. The layout has a few parallel fairways though the trees, and hills give each hole a completely secluded feel. The back nine feels more open than the front, but that may only be because of the ponds and lakes that come into play on many of the holes. Throughout Sugar Ridge Golf Club, golfers will find that the par 3s are fairly straightforward and the par 5s have sloping, uphill fairways that make them feel even longer. There are a few memorable par 4s, notable for both their scenery and level of difficulty.

Summer Spectacular
Alway been a fan of the layout. Greens were firm and fast. Paired up with 2 ladies and though course was a little crowded. Groups moved pretty steady with only a short wait on tee boxes rarely waiting for approaches. Good bargain through Golf Now and highly underrated.
Greens
The greens keeper drives right over the middle of the holes. Leaves huge tire marks on both sides of every hole.

Teamed up with another single and it was a great round.
I’ve been playing this course for 12+ years and love everything about it. It’s worth the 45 minute drive from Cincinnati, and is always a good time. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone in a 45 minutes radius. Thank you to the Sugar Ridge employees for a great experience and many more to come.
Great day, but groundskeeper needs to relax
Awesome day for golf but for some reason the groundskeeper kept interrupting me with wanting to treat the greens. This needs to be done early before I get there. I teed off @ 10am. Very rude of him bit besides him e ery thing else was perfect

Super Slow
Course wasn't bad but the the pace of play was terrible, it took us 6 hours to play our round.

Layout
They built a suburb throughout the course. The course is all split up with long rides between holes. Hilly and rough conceals balls too easily

For a shorter course this is awesome. It’s challenging and fun. Some risk/reward holes makes it fun. Staff is great. This is the 3rd year in a row I’ve done a Reds/golf day and it keeps getting better.
Great Time
The only thing I had negative was one hole on the back nine, fairway was dead. Great staff, even lent me a putter which I forgot in my other bag. Lol.
