About
One half of Sugar Ridge Golf Club is situated in extreme southwestern Ohio while the other half winds up into the Indiana hills. The border location may be unconventional but the setting provides a dramatic backdrop. The course sprawls across rolling hills that are abundant with wildlife. Wild turkey and deer have been known to roam the golf course. The layout has a few parallel fairways though the trees, and hills give each hole a completely secluded feel. The back nine feels more open than the front, but that may only be because of the ponds and lakes that come into play on many of the holes. Throughout Sugar Ridge Golf Club, golfers will find that the par 3s are fairly straightforward and the par 5s have sloping, uphill fairways that make them feel even longer. There are a few memorable par 4s, notable for both their scenery and level of difficulty.

Backed up like no other.
Stacking tee times and running behind s whole hour and a half to two hours. Had a 10:57 tee time and showed up at 10:30 with 20 different groups still waiting on the first tee box. Didn’t get a heads up or anything. We were told you can either stay or leave?! Didn’t even make the tee time 24 hours in advance so I couldn’t cancel. Awful won’t come back here again.
Impossible to walk good distances between many holes. Good layout. Will use every club in your bag

Always a great place to play!
Since discovering this gem not far from me, my buddies an I play here several times a season! On this day we met and played with a Father and Son duo(Butch and Jason) from a nearby community and had a great time playing with them! Although the leaves are off of the trees, the crews seems to have done a decent job of keeping them isolated to the tree lines and off of the fairways, but with the wind, this will vary; the greens all looks good, but have been aerated and have plenty of sand on them.
Still a great course to play; be back soon!!!

Fall
Love this course but it has seen a tremendous amount of play this season. Greens show a lot of my fellow golfers need to learn proper way to repair ball marks on greens. All other course conditions are good.
