South at Michigan City Municipal Golf Course

Water was everywhere. We’ve had nothing but rain, might have been a good idea to close the course this afternoon. It was next to impossible to keep the carts out of the water. Fairways flooded , sand traps with water sitting several inches deep. I feel certain the maintenance crew is doing everything they can, but it’s fighting a loosing battle.

Played Michigan City South course today with my wife. The course is in outstanding condition and the greens were as good as I've ever seen them. We had a very enjoyable round!

Arrived a 6:45 for our 6:56 tee time and were told there was an outing with a 7:30 shotgun start we could join if we wanted. Did not honor our tee time. Said the golf now tee times did not matter. Will not be returning.

The course is in good condition except for the 15th hole. This hole is unplayable. My second shot in the fairway plugged into wet ground and I couldn’t find it. The price is right and I will be back

Course was in very good shape. Played longer then the yardage due to no roll in the fairways. It’s been a rainy spring. Very slow play due to many fivesomes and even a sixsome in front of us. Went into the pro shop afterwards and told them I played there 2 days in a row and never saw the ranger once. Reply was the ranger was suppose to be circulating around the course. They said they allow fivesomes. Maybe they need to re-evaluate that policy. Rangers need to do a better job.

I have paid a lot more to play lesser courses. great condition, playable yet challenging. love the greens and the tee boxes are better than most courses I have played. will be back

One of my favorite places to play in Mich City/New Buff area.

It was in good shape for the time of the year, was a nice day until last few holes then it turned chilly and damp but that’s weather. It was good to,get out again to golf. We will play again

Made last minute reservation on golf now for $10.

It was cold and sunny the day we played with a bit of a breeze. The course came out of the long winter very well.

The greens had not been cut in quite a while, but they were surprisingly fast.

This is a municipal course that is well kept and fun to play. Their staff is also very friendly so we almost always have a good experience here.

Course was nice for the time of season, and the price was right. The greens were rolling real good, and the staff we encountered were nice and helpful.

Rated against other municipal golf couses it is one of the best. Personally i think the course plays a little bit tougher than it's slope rating. Overall a great place to get in a round of golf and the staff is very friendly.

Course was in ok shape. Once you get through the first 3 or 4 holes along the highway, it gets a lot more interesting. Overall well worth the money.
