Nice city course.
I like this course a lot and will be back. Plenty challenging with hilly terrain some water not many sand traps. Par threes between 100 and 160+. A lot of dog legs so be ready to estimate the turns. And did I mention the hills. Very nice course. Plenty challenging.

Always fun
We played Elbel, just outside of South Bend on 6-23-2025. It was in the 90's so we were thankful for the occasional breeze. Played Elbel many times and it is always in great shape. This was no exception. Starter let us go off a half hour early as some folks canceled due to the heat. Very friendly staff and well stocked club house. Elbel is a hilly course with a bit of water and bunkers and strategy comes into play often. Large greens with lots of slope.Highly recommend.

Very nice municipal course.
It plays a little hard pan on the tee boxes and fairways.
The aprons in front of the green are getting rough.
Overall the course is fun and the staff is terrific.
