The rains hate birdies
Course in perfect shape, greens so receptive and the storms washed us away at 12.
Forced to walk due to standing water . Paid to ride online was not offered cart refund

The pace of play at Elbel is the slowest in the area. We play a lot of local courses but Elbel is the slowest of all of them.

Solid course, fun layout. A lot of trees and Heather. Hit it straight
Always a fun time, very solid city course. Great low key food and bev selection. All rounds seem to be 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 hour rounds.

Well kept, friendly staff, and a layout that is challenging yet there’s plenty opportunities to score.
If you’re in south bend, you should play this course.

Nice course with lots of wildlife
This course is located close to a marsh and you can see quite a bit of wild life. Today we saw a pair of sand hill cranes, several deer. And lots of geese. The issue with the geese is they leave poop all over the golf course. We haven’t had measurable rainfall in quite some time which means the grass is not growing as quickly and there is an abundance of goose poo everywhere.
I would give the course 5 stars if they somehow could make it so every step you take you didn’t have to worry about getting a bunch of bad news wedged in your golf cleats.
Overall tee boxes and greens were in really good shape (other than all of the poo),
It’s a great value on a golf now not deal time, if you can snag one of these I would highly recommend giving this muni a try.

Nice course
Course was in very good condition considering the hot weather last few weeks, greens rolled smoothly. Course layout is very interesting gives you a challenge
