Ironhorse Golf Club

Awesome.playing conditions were excellent.Pace of play slow because of group that thought they could hit longer than they did,many times well over 250 yards.Needed more Marshall work.

I really enjoyed playing here. The pace is well balanced, my friend and I played 18 in 3 hours. We went through one group that let us play through as soon as we came up to them, only had to wait one shot! My only complaint is the short grass around the greens are not consistent and in spots dead. I am sure that will correct as the year progresses.

Course was in great shape except for bare spots around the greens.

Beautiful course with lots of trees and wildlife. Fairways are Zoysia and roll gently. Mostly flat lies. The rough was long but no terribly thick. Greens were fast and had a lot of undulation making putting a challenge. Most holes caused you to think as a creek crossed over half of the holes. Course management is a premium. Bunkers were packed due to a lot of recent rain.

The golf course is in pristone early season form. if you have the chance get out here and play.

Ironhorse is one of the better golf courses in the KC area. Course was predictably soft from the snow melt and rain, but was in surprisingly good shape.

Cart path only made the round very long, but that is understandable. Given the conditions, noticed for the first time the complete lack of ball washers and golf shoe (cleat) cleaners. Please add those to the tee boxes on occasion.
Can't wait to get back.

The course is in terrific shape, especially for the middle of winter when a weather break allows for 18 holes.
The greens are surprisingly smooth and the turf is holding up very well.

Love playing this course! I haven't played here that much this year & oh how I've missed this place. This course offers a lot of variety of the tee box & the terrain is very diverse. There are some tight fairways & a lot of hazards to worry about. That's what I like about this course, it will challenge your game. I definitely have to lay up on some holes if I don't want to get penalized. The greens are fast, they also have a lot of undulation. You really have to have nice touch & good approach shots if you want to score well. A lot of the greens are also protected, so course management is key. What more can I say, I would play here more often but I don't live close to the course & it's not cheap to play here unless you get a good deal on golfnow.

As always course was in good shape. It's a tremendous layout and will require all clubs in your bag, need to be a good ball striker or could be very long day.

This is an excellent golf course. The greens were lightning fast, the fairways were plush; and the overall golf course was well manicured. This was the best course I have played this year.

Great course! I took a chance on this course since I had not played it before and was very surprised with the challenging layout and the excellent course conditions! Great Par 3's and you will most likely hit every club in your bag! I will play the course again when I am in the area!

Ironhorse is always my go-to course when I can't decide where I want to play. Kansas City has some great options but I always try to play Ironhorse when I get the chance. The course is always in top notch condition and has some fun holes to play.
