Nice course, but always packed
It's a very fun and challenging golf course, but be prepared to wait on literally every shot if you play anytime on a weekend. I played with my father who's lucky to double every hole and we still waited from holes 2-18 on practically every shot. I would definitely recommend the course, but try to go at an off time of day

Great challenging course. One of the best I have played in the KC metro area so far.

Ironhorse is in wonderful shape and is beautifully laid out. It is a pretty challenging layout.

Great course. Loved it. Had so much fun. Looking forward to my next round.
Play Smart
Don't just read par 4 (or even 5) and immediately pull out your driver. Playing it safe will reward you on this course. My buddy I played with described it well, "it's like a chess match out here, you can't just crank it back and hit it as far as it will go every time."
Greens are in great shape and somewhat deceiving, tough to read, but run true. Only the second time playing the course, but will definitely be back.
Fun course
Iron Horse is best when not played soon after rain as the course retains water and can be soppy. Enjoy the lay out and the course and homes is not generally an issue. Restaurant is top notch and the F&B staff is wonderful.

Good course and would recommend this course for the advid golfer.

Nice course..some tight fairways and some wide open...bunkers were a bit inconsistent...overall excellent shape for early in the year
Good early season golf
I really like the layout of this course, but was worried that it would be really wet. It was wet in only a few areas and I walked so I saw most of the course. It was cart path only though. The course was in pretty good shape, and the greens rolled quite well for this early in the season
The course is a nice track for all golfers
I enjoy playing Iron horse it is a challenging course that is playable for most golfers.
The best greens in Kansas City
A great track with greens that if you miss the hole you have a 10 footer coming back. Staff is outstanding!! Really nice people that make it a great experience!!!
This course is in great shape and very challenging!
Played IronHorse for the first time and couldn't have been happier! The course makes you place the ball in fairways and the greens are super fast! If your looking for a course that challenges your golf IQ this is definitely the place to go! I wouldn't recommend this course to beginner golfers, could make for a long afternoon. Fairways & greens are pristine! I would easily consider this course a top 5 course in Kc metro area
Great conditions, fun to play
Multiple sets of tees to suit different skill levels. Some challenging holes, easy to hit off fairways, greens rolled true and hold approach shots exceptionally.

a most beautiful course
Ironhorse is definetly one of the top 3 courses I have ever played. The holes are all very picturesque and from tee box to greens in excellent shape. The check-in at the pro shop was quick, the staff very friendly. I reccomend this course to all players who enjoy a challenging but beautiful course.
