New owners
Early spring is a tough time to review a course here in the mid-west. Weather makes it tough to maintain a course (played yesterday and it’s snowing today).
The price was fair and the new owner worked the register and seemed enthused about his new business.
The fairways are lined with trees and the wide open holes have significant water hazards. A much more challenging course than one would realize. I’ll be back when the weather is better.

It’s a good layout for those new to the game. Flat, some trees, but to the point of punishing someone off the tee. The hazards are fair and it’s open during the COVID-19 outbreak. Friendly staff. Course isn’t very well maintained, but it’s good for the price

Didn't even bother to show up
50 degree day in Iowa in December. I booked using GolfNow app for $13 (plus fees). Tee time was 1039 AM. Arrived at course at 1000 AM to hit a bucket. Nobody from course bothered to show up. I've been frustrated with that course before for inconsiderate mowers. I'll never go back.
Ended up going a few miles to Dodge Riverside. Nice course and employees very nice.

Somewhat patchy
Ok course to play in cool weather bc not long. Too many leaves on fairway.

There was no distinction between rough or fairway and 90% of the course was crabgrass or dirt. Also the sprinkler system ran nearly half of our round which was played in the middle of the day during the hot summer months. Made me question if the grounds crew even knew what they were doing. Will never be back.

Poorly maintained
This course is poorly maintained -cow pasture comes to mind - terrible course for the money- will not go back no matter what the price

Course conditions were terrible. Pace of play was excruciating.

Fox Run
Making the tee time with the Golfnow app was pretty easy. We showed up, checked in, and were on our way. It took less than 90 seconds for check in. The course was in decent shape. There were a couple holes that had been damaged by flooding, but overall course was in good shape. Not my first time playing here and will play here again.

Some of the worst kept holes in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. Greens were slow, but playable. The fairways were so poorly kept that in many places there were no grass at all, just dirt. I don’t think I’d go back there if they offered me a free round of golf.

Great value, fun course
I’ve just begun getting back into golf, and this is the fourth course in the area that I’ve tried. Best value by far. Good mix of challenging and not as challenging holes. What I liked most was how remote this course felt. It was a 15 minute drive from Omaha but at times it felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Only downside on the day I played was that there had been a lot of rain, which kept them from being able to mow some of the fairways. Not really their fault, but would also be nice if they didn’t charge full price on a day when some of the holes are in bad shape. Still, at the value, I’m really just nitpicking. I’ll definitely be back!
