Good layout, good conditions, be in the fairway!
I like the design here, mix of lefts, rights, and straight holes. The turtle back greens are small, so bring a sharp short game or scramble all day. The rough was thick in early May, so straight is a premium off the tee.
Nice practice green, and range is available.
Great course - will play again.
The course is well maintained, the staff was courteous and efficient, and I look forward to the next time I play here.

Starting year off right
Fox Run is off to a great start this season. Third round this year, and each time there has been obvious course improvements. Hole 6 is the only cart path only hole, and the water has finally start to recede.
By summer the course will be in tip top shape!

Course was full, but the play was good, 3.5 hours for 18 holes
The course was good for early spring. The course was full, but the play moved right along.The greens were very fast. The hole placements were challenging. I will play it again

Crowded
The course was beautiful and well maintained for the most part (greens were pretty rough). The only problem was it was completely over crowded!! A foursome had the same t time as myself and a fellow mate. We had to wait on a cart. The first 3 holes took 1-1/2 hours to play do to overcrowding. I would love to play the course again but most likely won’t travel from Lincoln to just sit and wait

Great day for golf
The couse was in great shape a lot of leaves but this time of year you expect that the weather was great so everyone was out playing so the pace of play was slow but again you expect that on the weekends that the weather is so comfortable
Some greens were in pretty bad condition. Some fairways had been recently aerated and interfered with balls - no warning as is usual at most courses when you schedule play. But it is a beautiful course and a lot of fun to play!
Course is in ok shape. Bring OFF, big skeetos.
Course in ok shape, good deals on rates. Good course to practice. Depending on amount of rain, mosquitoes can be bad. They were thick on this date.
Prepare for a long day
Course was 30 minutes behind scheduled time and they didn’t mention an outing would be teeing off in front of us. Glad I booked ten days in advance to get put behind a scramble. Tons of crabgrass on greens so could t get a true rolling putt all day.
Play somewhere else
Pace of play was terribly slow. Got to the turn and apparently the start let a group that had a rain check start before us making for a 3.5 hour 9 holes. Starter was also not a very nice human. Save your money and go play somewhere else.
Course is flat and great for the average golfer
Last year course was in Great shape and this year the greens need some attention due to heat conditions. Still a good value.
The course was enjoyable
The course has been maintained well and provided an enjoyable round.
Not well-maintained
This review is based only on the first six holes as we were rained out.
I’ve never seen so much clover on a golf course. One should not be obligated to play a colored ball simply because the rough is virtually all white. Numerous dead trees and downed branches (not recent). Multiple sand traps without a rake. Holes hadn’t been moved in days and replaced holes were dead and obvious on the greens. Rarely does one see three holes (one current and two previous readily visible within a 5 foot radius. There just isn’t much love put into this course. On a Sunday afternoon there was one staff member in the clubhouse to handle all food, drink, and check-in.
