Potential is there.
A great course for a beginner golfer, as it is a straight course with wide fairways, but whether because we are approaching the end of summer, or other factors, the course condition was average. Fairways and rough were decent, but the tee boxes were rock hard and I broke a plastic tee trying to get it in the ground. The greens were suspect, with bare spots, rough patches, and some fringes having crab grass.
Pace of place was slowed and a lack of rangers to encourage a faster pace of play only exacerbated the issue. During my round, my foursome was stuck behind a group of elderly men that played incredibly slow. Because of this group there were times that two groups were waiting behind us at the tee box, with a third on the green of the previous hole. These slow players were playing from the red tees, rarely hit it straight, and would put out.
Lastly, there was no sand on the carts or course where I could fill my divots.
All that being said, the course has great potential, just needs some TLC. It would be one of the better courses to play if it was in better condition.
disappointing
Course needs water. Needed a hammer on most tee boxes to get tees in the ground.
Several greens in jeopardy of losing grass. Multiple greens diseased.
Teed off at 2:10 and finished at 6:45! No marshals to speed up slow players.
Need to address driving range balls on 17 and 18 fairways.
Not bad for the $$$
Nice little quiet course. Hardly anyone on the course so finished in just over 3 hours with my son. Only complaint would be all the ball marks on the greens. Quite obvious that the players before us didn't really care to fix their marks or really know how to walk on the greens.
If only
Fun course. Friendly staff. I wish people would respect the course better and fix their ball marks on the greens. With that said the greens could have been in better shape too. The fairways could have been more defined but overall still a fun course.
Great Day at KP
Course has a nice layout. Greens and fairways in pretty good shape. Cart path only made it a 5 hour round but to be expected. Overall nice course and would advise playing here
Nice experience
Overall the price, condition, and the staff was very good. I would recommend it.
One of Middle Tennessee area’s best.
You won’t be blown away by this course, but for the price it’s worth it to play here multiple times a month. Kenny Perry’s is in much better condition than most course within an hour of Nashville and is certainly a better value. The course is fun, has some challenging holes, and offers a good round for golfers of most handicaps. I play here is sometimes slow, but always enjoyable.
Easy
Really didn’t know what to expect but the course is pretty wide open. The driveway entrance is way too narrow and parking at the course is small. Plenty of marshals around the course no sights of a cart for beverages or food guess you will need to purchase those items before the round and after the front 9.
Great track for the money
You can’t beat this course for the price. Fun course to play. For someone that does not a chance to play as often as Inwould like this was a great course to play as it offers a forgiving course for my game. Greens speed was great and the ball rolled great. Will play this course anytime I am in the area.
