Course Was Decent & Challenging in Places.
Had not played this course in probably 10+years. Fairways and tee boxes were a little rough but greens were in good shape. I enjoyed the layout and would definitely play here again. Decently priced and not too far of a drive. Pace of play was a little slow but what can you expect on a Saturday.
Good value for the money and always an enjoyable round!
Enjoyed the round! Greens were recently punched and will be very nice in a few weeks. A few of the tee boxes could use some work but overall it’s a good course and good value for the money!
Good value
Good value but they just aerated the greens. Good course for beginners. Easy layout.
Poor conditions
Have played this course several times in the past and enjoyed it, but the conditions this past weekend were poor. Many tee boxes without grass. Greens were aerated (which is necessary) but not filled with sand or discounted. The areas around the green were inconsistent - mostly dirt and summer grass that hasn’t come in yet. Not going to play here again for awhile. Hopefully things look better later in the year
Course in poor shape
Understanding that the course took on a lot of water the week prior, I was still surprised at the condition of the course. 80% of the tee boxes there was no grass. We had to play two of the holes (a par 5 and a par 4) as par 3s due to the wetness of the course. Was surprised we still had to pay full price based on that alone. The greens were the only bright spot.
Consistently overbooked
5.5 hours to play 18 with three players playing best ball.
Good overall experience
We played when the temperature was in the low 40s, but overall was a good experience. The greens rolled wonderfully and pretty true. Will definitely come back when the weather is warmer and everything greens up.
Course wet as it rained harder than I thought the night before. Overall course was nice greens were in good shape. Would recommend to friends and will play again
Great place to play
The course is really enjoyable. The recent storms had taken a slight toll with trees down and small limbs in many places. This is not the courses fault and considering the type of storm that had come through they had done a phenomenal job of getting the course ready for play! Will be back!!!
Played after a big rain
My first time playing here was after a big rain and the course was very very wet. I did enjoy the layout but would like to play it when the conditions were better to make a better opinion
Great shape
Gor this time of year. KY was 65 degrees in Febuary!!!
Country Creek delivers
Great winter round. Course in good shape. Staff awesome and cordial as always. Several slower groups allowed me to play through for great pace of play.
Under Construction
Currently 12 & 13 have been reduced to par 3’s which unfortunately has you playing 4 par 3’s in a five hole stretch. Would be great if they were doing this to put some kind of drainage in since those two holes are constantly water logged but looks like they are just allowing the fairways to heal from the very wet beginning to winter
