Kenny Perry's Country Creek Golf Course

Even if I didn't live 5 minutes away, it would still be my choice of courses in south- central Kentucky.

Been wanting to play this course for years, definitely wasn't worth the wait. Terrible conditions, no grass, fairways a mess, greens shaggy and slow, terrible layout, literally one of the worst I've ever played, would expect something like this out in the middle of nowhere at a little farm course or something, not a PGA player's course. Unfriendly staff, no real food or drink choices, etc. etc. Only thing good was getting done and playing ok. Won't be playing here again, and I pray there's other better options in the area for the locals.

I grew up playing this course and love its design and it’s fun to play for beginner and intermediates alike. It’s short and fairly unassuming. My foursome tees off around 12:00 pm. I was paired with others I was unfamiliar with but I’d peg one guy and myself as single handicappers with the other two in the 12-15 ballpark.

My only issue with the round is it took us 5 and a half hours to complete with an entire hole open ahead of the group in front of us. I never wish for people to be asked to skip holes because that’s taking away from their experience and what they’d paid for, but I would expect marshals to hold them at a tee box to allow faster groups to get through.

Been wanting to stop and play here for years. Finally did and wow; what a disappointment. Terrible conditions from tee to green, staff not friendly, nothing much to eat or drink ready to go, no grass, shaggy slow greens, awful layout. Glad we got it cheap, but still overpaid. Don’t waste your time here. I pray there’s better options in the area for people to play.

I love this course. Play it a lot. Greens are in good shape. Tee boxes need a lot of attention. And, a few fairways need some love, as well. When I played there weren’t a lot of people out so pace was awesome, but it can get pretty slow on busy days since the course is great for beginners. You’ve got to be patient with the beginners and the seniors at this course. The layout is fun. Love the staff. Free refills on soft drinks. If I just want a fun day on the course, I go to Kenny Perry’s. Hopefully, they work on fairways and tee boxes then it’d be even better.

I will continue coming back to this course anytime I can. A great warmup front 9 followed by a bit more challenging back 9. The greens are a bit fast but maintained well. Always a fun round here.

The fairways haven’t come in yet but getting closer. From the tips the course will challenge mid to low handicappers but perfect for high handicappers from the white. It’s a great layout for practice and learning.

This course is perfect for new players and those wanting to work on their game. It has some challenging holes from the back tees but the wide fairways make it lots of fun for new players.

Had not played this course in probably 10+years. Fairways and tee boxes were a little rough but greens were in good shape. I enjoyed the layout and would definitely play here again. Decently priced and not too far of a drive. Pace of play was a little slow but what can you expect on a Saturday.

Enjoyed the round! Greens were recently punched and will be very nice in a few weeks. A few of the tee boxes could use some work but overall it’s a good course and good value for the money!

Good value but they just aerated the greens. Good course for beginners. Easy layout.

Have played this course several times in the past and enjoyed it, but the conditions this past weekend were poor. Many tee boxes without grass. Greens were aerated (which is necessary) but not filled with sand or discounted. The areas around the green were inconsistent - mostly dirt and summer grass that hasn’t come in yet. Not going to play here again for awhile. Hopefully things look better later in the year

Fun course, a little wet and sloppy due to recent rain. Will play again.
