Consistently overbooked
5.5 hours to play 18 with three players playing best ball.
Good overall experience
We played when the temperature was in the low 40s, but overall was a good experience. The greens rolled wonderfully and pretty true. Will definitely come back when the weather is warmer and everything greens up.
Course wet as it rained harder than I thought the night before. Overall course was nice greens were in good shape. Would recommend to friends and will play again
Great place to play
The course is really enjoyable. The recent storms had taken a slight toll with trees down and small limbs in many places. This is not the courses fault and considering the type of storm that had come through they had done a phenomenal job of getting the course ready for play! Will be back!!!
Played after a big rain
My first time playing here was after a big rain and the course was very very wet. I did enjoy the layout but would like to play it when the conditions were better to make a better opinion
Great shape
Gor this time of year. KY was 65 degrees in Febuary!!!
Country Creek delivers
Great winter round. Course in good shape. Staff awesome and cordial as always. Several slower groups allowed me to play through for great pace of play.
Under Construction
Currently 12 & 13 have been reduced to par 3’s which unfortunately has you playing 4 par 3’s in a five hole stretch. Would be great if they were doing this to put some kind of drainage in since those two holes are constantly water logged but looks like they are just allowing the fairways to heal from the very wet beginning to winter
Fun Round
This was the first time playing here. I was a bit apprehensive to book here because some of the reviews were negative. I thought the course was in good shape. I didn’t find the greens nor the fairways to be “beaten up” as some reviewers said. I will agree that for #18 there are too many range balls in the fairway. What was worse for me was I was playing with yellow balls like the range balls ! We had to battle rain for most of the round but that wasn’t the course’s fault. I’ll definitely play here again.
Good little course
Fairways were nice, good greens but were beat up, range balls all over the fairway #18, no starter, and grass clippings all over fairways. I would recommend course for local players but not for a golf trip. Over all nice little course.
Kenny’s Friendly Home
It’s always a joy to head to Franklin and play Kenny Perrry’s Course. It’s a solid track and the fairways are predictively in great shape all the time. Tea boxes were rough. Greens are nice, but a bit beat up in places. A very scoreable course, but it also has a knack of making you pay for Errant shots. Couldn’t ask for more.
