Nice practice course
Great practice course or confidence booster more than a couple par 4's can be reached in 1. Great beginner course play here often with my wife who is just learning.
Enjoyable couse
this course is great for beginner/intermediate golfers. It can be forgiving but there are enough obstacles to require good placement on most holes.
Great nine-hole golfing
Very nice staff great grounds a good time for the experienced golfer or the intermediate golfer too hard holes eight and nine other than that pretty easy
Good Golf!
A little slow play today but it was Father's Day after all. The course was in good condition. I enjoy playing here.
Get Your Tee Times Worked Out!!
I would love to write a full review for this course, but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to play. Booked for a 8AM tee time on Sunday and when I arrived at the clubhouse there were at least 5 groups (mostly foursomes) waiting to tee off on hole #1..that is NOT an exaggeration (I wish it were). I hung around the putting green to see if it opened up...NOPE, more people kept pouring in. So I decided to take my business elsewhere.
I get it, Sunday morning is a busy time, but seriously how can you expect people to wait at least 30-45 min to tee off, only to have it continue during the course of play...isn't that what tee times are for??
Weekday Round
This is a nice place to play during the week as is not crowded, can hit more than one shot, like to take my girlfriend as she is a new golfer and gives me the opportunity to teach as we play. Great pricing on Golf now. Beer cold, food reasonable. Nice area for outside dining with bean bag toss and dartboard too. Very convenient location and kinda tucked away also. Nice when you want to play a round but without the time constraints or pressures that a full blown course requires. Staff here very laid back which makes for a nice relaxing round.
good value
I have played here twice already this year and was pleasantly surprised with the shape of the course. It had been many years since I was last here and now the course is in much better shape. Pace of play was the only downside both times this year but you would expect that with a beginner/ intermediate course of this level. The food at the grill in the clubhouse was excellent! I will definitely be back more this year for a quick round.
Horrendously overbooked!
This was my first time here in years and the course was much nicer than previously. That being said, the first nine holes were a decent pace, however there were no marshalls to enfore etiquette at the turn or the group ahead hitting 2 balls each. The next nine were terribly slow. At one point there were 10 carts waiting on a hole. We tried to skip to the next and found 4 carts waiting as well. Not wanting to be there until dark, we left after only 13 holes played.
value round
Great place for money and very fast moving pace of play. Clubhouse grill wasn't open which was a downer but overall very decent 9 hole course. Will come back
I love this 9 hole couse, so close and par 4 so I can use my driver. Food at the club house is exceptional. Linda makes the best food in the Tri-State
We love this place!!! Friendly and the course is always fun! I've played it about 14 times this year and each time it's wonderful. The food at the club house is exceptional!!! We will be back each chance we get. Thanks Meadow Woods!!!

Good for a quick nine or a nice relaxing day of golf
We had a nice time at this course. The only problem we had was the first few holes were crowded with balls flying all over,so heads up.Other than that the course was clean and the staff friendly.once we got past the first few holes the rest of the course was great with sand and water in good spots.there is a mix of difficulty on each hole so its an interesting place to play.
Good Practice course
The fairways are the best part of this course. They were in very good shape on the day I played. A lot of the tee boxes have very bad bare spots. Some of the greens have bad bare spots as well. You can see that the maintenance crew has been working around the course. They are clearing some scrub growth and dead trees, there is a very noticeable change in last 3 weeks. I also found that the yard markers were incorrect as well. Good place to take the kids to teach and hack around.
Very fun course.
Nice layout for the bomber and the bulls eye golfer. Some greens are very challenging and hard to get the ball to stay on with approach shot. Hole 9 is my nemesis and will keep trying to clear the water and get the ball to stay on green from tee shot. Have ruined two nice scores going for green.
Needs Maintenance
Basically a 9 hole course, so I found it odd that you could book an 18 hole round. The fairways and rough were good but the greens needed a severe haircut (the longest I have ever seen nationwide). Several of them were patchy and even had dead areas in them that looked like water had created grooves. Could be a real nice little course, but needs some definite attention.
Nine holes from easy to challenging
Our Sunday afternoon tee time was a joy for my son and I. With holes ranging from easy to challenging this is a fun course to play. Although not a long course, shot placement is definitely a priority. Undulating greens on some holes make for a fun/frustrating round.
Great Price!!!!
This was an interesting coarse. Fairways and tee boxes were in excellent shape. The greens were impossible to read. Very small and very hilly. The coarse layout is confusing. I played from the tips and was still able to use the driver on a few holes. The par 5 should honestly be a par 4. But again... Very small green. The staff there was fantastic. Beer was extremely cheap and the food wasn't bad. I would not recommend a scratch golfer to play there because of the skill set golfers that were playing. Lot of kids and hacks trying to learn the game. But.... I would go back especially since I bought 18 holes, 7 beers, and 20 chicken wings and paid less then 35 bucks. Not bad for a cheap date!
Great value for beginners
I took my daughter who has just started learning to play and this is an ideal course for beginners. It is basically flat and wide open, sometimes too much so as we often had to let someone play out of our fairway.
The tee boxes were all in decent shape, the fairways better than I expected. There were a few bad greens but the price through Golfnow makes this an absolute no-brainer for those .
