General Burnside State Park

The course is very challenging and manicured very well. The greens were rolling very good.

The course is in great shape. The fairways and greens are all green, lush and well-manicured. The course is challenging with a lot of elevation changes from fairway to greens. Just the right amount of bunkers to make it interesting. Beautiful lake and woodland scenery all around. We saw turkey and deer the day we played. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Carts were in good shape. Nice driving range and practice green next to clubhouse. They have plenty of generous tee times available through GolfNow with good discounts. Yes, you want to play this course.

The course was in good shape. I like how the greens held an iron shot yet weren't slow.
I always enjoy thinking my way around the course and the challenges they present. There's not a lot of risk/reward but there are a few times you can "attack" the course.

This was a joy to play and truly was one of the best state park courses I've played. Excellent condition of the tee boxes, fairways and greens! Will play again in the near future.

Had not played there in several years. The improvements in the course are wonderful. All of the ladies tee boxes are as nice as the men's. The layout is great, the fairways and greens are in super shape. My grandson and I had a relaxing day even though it was cart path only lol.

Wonderful winter golf outing. The course was in great shape. Greens were perfect, traps were perfectly raked even at this time of year.

Really fun course. Fairly long (at least for someone like me who doesn't hit the ball a mile). Also, thanks to the hills of KY, you'll probably find yourself playing with the ball above and below your feet fairly often. The course was under repair in a spot or two, but I'm sure they'll have that fixed by the time the Spring comes around. I've played this course in every season and it's always well-kept.

The greens rolled very nice and true considering they looked to have been punched around 2 weeks ago. I have played this course a few times and it is challenging if you don't know your way around the course. Good overall value if you book the discounted tee time on Golf Now, otherwise it is a little pricey. I am a senior and always looking for a good deal.

Zoysia fairways, large bent greens. 4 sets of tees to fit most golfers. Good value

Fairways are excellent. Greens were little bumpy and did not roll very true. Bunkers in good shape. Overall nice course worth the money.

Course is in great shape. Front nine challenging with the back nine a little kinder. A great value excellent course!

This is a sweet little course. Reminds me a great deal of its sister course Dale Hollow. Not as long as Dale Hollow but plays long because of the elevated greens. This course will challenge you and you must play smart.
