Course has interesting layout and some very picturesque holes
Pace of play was very good and electric carts a plus. The greens however were less than average shape, one in particular only had 20 percent live grass, the remaining 80 percent was black, seemed to be diseased. All greens were thinned grassed and therefore hard to hold shots and not easily puttable. Drinking water on course provided by coolers was not cold and on a couple holes no cups were provided. Scorecard and/or course failed to note distance to water hazard on holes. Tees ok but some bare spots, Fairways fine, sand traps maintained and full with sand. Easy to get to just off AA highway. Membership available for 2 1/3 years for excellent rate. Was also offered opportunity to join skins game held three times weekly. Course very playable but greens need work. Nineteenth hole had cold beer and hot food, brats and mets were not the best quality. Staff very friendly.
Greens will in bad condition
Greens were areated and missing grass in many locations.
Putting on hard ground with no grass was very fast or bumpy.
Course needs work.....recommend you play later this year.
disappointing
There are many big spots of crabgrass in the fairways. A couple of the greens were also infected. My round started at noon on a Friday, and the mowing crew worked throughout its entirety. On one particular hole a mower trimmed the edges of the green my friends and I were putting on.
nice place off the beaten path.
Course personnel were very friendly. The women's tees were difficult to find, as the fairways were close together and tee boxes were not marked.
Good course for the price
Course was in a little rough shape but it is early spring. Surprised that the fairways looked like winter condition instead of early spring. A lot of bare spots etc. Greens were in very good shape!
Very friendly staff. Golf in February is never bad.
Played the course in the first time in a long time with my sons. Beautiful February day. Fairways suprisingly good. Greens as rough as expected but held shots. Very friendly staff. Only played front 9 and can't wait to try out the back 9 with my boys. Very good experience and a course to add to the "let's try it out" list.
