A. J. Jolly Golf Course

Always great to hit 18 on a nice course like A.J Jolly. Makes starting off the week great every Monday

Staff was amazing. The course was in great shape and the pace was perfect.

Condition is the worse I’ve ever seen it and they’re still charging 65 to play it absolutely ridiculous

This was my first visit and the course was amazing. The staff was super friendly and had our carts ready and waiting for our tee time. The course was very well kept and the day was perfect. We will definitely be back!

You never know what you’ll get with public courses and this was not a disappointment. After the heat and lack of rain conditions are tough but they are managing as best they can. I would play this course every day if I lived close enough. It was a very pleasant surprise and truly enjoyable experience.

I used to love, AJ Jolly golf course, but now with the condition that it is in, I would not pay over $25 to play there. It has very little grass and the greens are like putting on your yard.

The course is in very bad condition. Fairways are dried up, have so many dry bold patches. Greens are not in a good condition either. Apparently the summer heat and rain have been a disaster for the course, lots of fungus attacked the grasses.

Hopefully they will take care of it otherwise it is not worth the money at this time.

The price is very reasonable. The starters were very friendly. The guy working the food and drinks is a jerk. He also used his bare hands to make hot dogs for us. Gloves? The guy mowing the lawn was following us and ran over 2 of our balls. I’ve never seen that before. Overall I recommend but beware of ordering food and drinks. So gross and he was angry to be at work today.

Course layout is great having multiple challenging shots and make learn to play right course management! Potential of course is great and they have fantastic staff to make it fun for more rounds to come

1. The staff is caring. They even provided complimentary iced bottles of water. When I asked to play another round, they gave me a fee based upon my previous GolfNow Hot Time.

2. The course is in amazing shape. The grass could be cut a half inch shorter. There are almost no grasses areas.

3. The greens are in 9 out of 10 of great condition. It seems most players repair divots, but of course there are always a few lazy idiots who don’t.

4. It was very hot so there were fewer players making the pace of play very fast. For the most part, as a single, the groups ahead would allow me to jump through.

5. It is a walkable course and there are quite a few doing that. For the most part, they’ll wave those close behind through.

6. It is easy to get to from Cincinnati.

7. The course can challenge you a bit, but that’s because it feels easy and one pushes to score,

8. I will play again - multiple times - until the word gets out about this gem and the pace of play drops off.

I play all over Cincinnati and surrounding area and this course is one of the best. Manicured, greens are true and perfectly kept. Staff are accommodating and friendly.
