Twin Oaks Golf Course

Course was in decent shape - some tee boxes were hard, some greens were a little burnt up. But all in all, met expectations at the price of $38. I will definitely play again. Free cups and ice machine outside the clubhouse was nice.

Cool site, old estate on the Licking River south of Covington, KY. As others have said, front 9 is flat and predictable. Holes 10-15 are all quite tough, either long or hilly or narrow or all of the above. Miss a green and you are 15 feet down off a ledge. Greens are all small and raised and upside down bowl shaped, and are only in OK shape—lots of ball marks. Fairways were good, rough was thick or patchy. No irrigation so things were pretty hard in some places. I love old courses and wanted to visit this one. Very adequate and busy local muny.

Course in good shape. Layout was simple on the front. Better on the back. Long Par 4's. Pace of play slow, but not courses fault. Overall great day.

Had problems after available cancellation time and did not play

It is my first time here and I won’t be back. The course is pretty open and you can get a driver out of the bag but the course condition is far below average. The fairways are not too bad but the rough is all weeds and bare patches. The greens have numerous brown bare patches and weeds growing in the middle of the putting surface. They are also very slow even giving the course the benefit of knowing it rained last night.

Plenty of other options to try.

course was in good condition. the greens werent fantastic but not too bad. maybe just people not repairing divots. must not be used to hitting the greens i guess. But overall, I really like the course and the staff is friendly.

all around great experience even with the Covid restrictions. Nice people from the starter to the pro shop and bar . Lady behind the bar is exceptionall . Only issue 98 degrees and need a cart , beverage person . Very Hot day and it would have helped

Ground very dry after a weekend of rain; slow play of teenagers in front of us, impervious to their slowness ruined a beautiful day weather wise.

Been playing here for years, wont return .... I show up for my tee time at 7:00 and they rush me out to the tee box because of a senior league (I assume that’s what it was) I’m 3 holes in front of them when I make the turn and was told to pick the pace up a little bit...I played the front 9 in a hour!!! How much faster would U like me to play? Seen them giving other players some attitude when I was finishing up....typically they overbook the course, today wasn’t the case...I guess they are just used to being rude to patrons and just carry it out even when there’s no need to rush them... seem more concerned with making money than they do making return visitors....do yourself a favor and stay away
