This is an ok - good course.
Numerous areas on the course need some Tender Loving Care!
When / if that happens it will it will move to a very good - excellent course.

@nd time playing Twin Oaks
This is my second time playing Twin Oaks and I am now a huge fan. The staff was extremely courteous and they took very good care of us.
We started at 7:50 and it was raining (not hard), and the staff was trying to stay within tee times as close as possible. We teed off at 8:10. The course is in excellent shape and challenging.
Even when returning the cart (two different times), the staff was very friendly!
Fun course, many weeds in rough
Always a fun time playing this course. Pace of play was pretty good, has been a problem here in the past. I lost my ball on the rough just off of the fairway a few times because of the number of weeds all over the course. Firmest I ever saw the greens here.

Very open and very peaceful. Nice and flat. Staff was friendly and making an effort to make sure you have everything you need.
I did Leave my buchnell wingman speaker on the cart and they don’t think it’s there but that’s my fault not theirs :(
Getting Pushed When quicker than standard pace of play
We finished 18 holes in less than 4 hours and were told to speed up four times. Once on the front when the group behind us was more than 1-1/2 holes behind. That gentleman thanked us at the turn. Though the Karen of a course gestapo on the back nine kept watching us, sitting in the fairway while we hit and pushing us nearly the entire back nine. We stopped for food at the turn and still finished under 4 hours. 30 minutes faster than normal pace of play. No one ever waited for us to hit a shot. They had an outing going off the front they had put markers out for before we finished the front. Moral of the story is don’t overbook on the first day of the year and don’t let other tee off late then push me when there is no one behind me. So annoying….. I doubt I will go back though I love the course. The staff was all pretty awful minus the starter.
Course is in great shape!!!
A buddy of mine and I played back in late March at Twin Oak. The grass was still dormant, and tee boxes, fairways, and greens were still a little beat up. Must say it looks pretty pristine thought right now. You can tell they've put a lot of work into it here at the beginning of the season. Love this course. Going to try and play here at least once a month this year.
Classic type layout
A good variety of holes. Short and long par 3’s and 4’s. Probably lots of options for longer hitters. Nice changes in elevation. Price was right and we made it in around 3 hours. The staff was extremely friendly and I had a pleasant conversation with the owner. This is a good change from the rest of the local courses. One of the few where you could actually do some walking.
