Course Review
I have been playing this course a number of times over the past 10 years as it's only 15 minutes from where I live. Over the recent few years, they have done a good job with the fairways however the rough is pretty barren, the greens are going downhill, and the tee boxes and cart paths need help. I know the weather this Spring has not helped - unseasonably cold to cool temps, and very little rain. But the course itself needs attention. They have been VERY understaffed the past 4-5 years - at times only one person was there to check players in as well having to wash and deliver carts. And not having a Marshall or Starter has caused severe slow play a number of times - either from letting groups tee off whenever they choose and then not monitoring play once they are on the Course. On the great side, they now have all new carts so the severely malfunctioning old ones are no longer an issue. Given the amount they ask we Seniors to pay, it really isn't all that bad - but as they say, you get what you pay for. But I think, based on other Courses in the area, given their condition, staffing, care, and price to play, they might greatly improve a lot of the issues by raising their rates a few bucks and reinvesting in Bay Hills.

I've played this course twice this yesr. It's in better condition this year than last yesr. We enjoyed it more than last year ans will be frequent players.

First Visit
The course and facilities look tired. Trash cans full at every hole, no ball washing capability. No warm-up range and only two holes on the putting green.

For this time of year
The fairways were in very good condition for this early in the year. Greens were recently plugged with an overlay of sand but rolled well, thanks to the fine point plugs they use.
Bunkers need work as always at this course.
Very enjoyable round until the 8 hole when e met a threesome who had the entire course backed up as they were slow and very poor golfers. Course desperately needs a Marshal.

Pace of play
Bay Hills is a competitive golf course. The course is challenging but fair. For this time of year the course is in decent shape. My only complaint is the pace of play. It can be very slow. Too many groups spend way too much time looking for errant balls & getting ready to hit their ball. For me personally I don’t enjoy constantly standing around waiting at each hole while groups in front take way too much time playing. Speed if play has to really improve as we get closer & closer to nicer weather.

New carts
Very nice golf carts, although the carts paths needed alot of attention. It needs to be redone with new asphalt. These new carts will not last on those cart paths condition. So bumpy and uncomfortable I get a headache from it.

Always a favorite
Love the course. My only knock tho is this course was not in $60 condition in late feb, pricing for the day seems a bit out of touch.

Winter Golf
The greens were faster than they looked. Although the grass in some fairways was still dormant, I got a lot of roll. ^* degrees in February, couln't ask fro more.

Fun Winter Round
Course was as expected for a winter round. Staff was great and very friendly. Cart paths are in bad shape for cart path only designation.
