Short Track
No GPS on carts
T boxes in rough shape
Lots of blind shots
Greens were rolling ok but are pretty beat up.
OK course
Course does not have a range and their small putting area is under renovation.
Conditions were OK - the rough is scruffy but the greens were good. Fairways decent.
Bunkers: one of the bunkers on the first hole was dried up mud with solid footprints cast into the mud. Generally you won’t find nice, soft “beach “ sand in the bunkers; here it’s some kind of gritty orange sand.
Biggest issue was that we were a foursome surrounded by twosomes. Even the worst twosome will play faster than a foursome. So we felt a bit of pressure. I don’t know why the course lets out so many twosomes. Other courses where we’ve played would have made up foursomes. I don’t think we saw another foursome the whole time we were there.
Bay Hills Summer
First year I have ever played Bay Hills. Nice, playable course. Greens are in excellent shape. Fairways coming back from a very harsh winter. In better overall shape than a few surrounding public courses. Price is very reasonable for what you get.
Greens is pure rn
Greens in great condition
Move them along
While I can appreciate beginners needed to play on the course, they should be reminded that double par is enough for one hole. Pick it up and move on
Needs sand trap help.
Greens were good . Needs sand traps redone. Shouldn't have been cart path only.
Missing a lot of the basics
None of the holes are numbered....really?? The cart paths are so bad that we frequently drive on the grass to avoid blowing out our backs. No signage on where to go when there's a fork in the path. Poor greens keeping. A ton of sand on the greens that did not get raked in.
fix the bunkers
Fairways and greens are good, rough and bunkers are bad. Its expected place your ball in a playable lie. Due to rain and erosion play winter golf here
Step it up
This course has looked like it’s under repair for a few years now. On my last two rounds there were no placards/signs at any tee boxes. Nothing to let you know what hole your on, the distance to the pin or a pic with the shape of the hole….:no information at all. The greens were covered in sand that had not been raked in and it left a ton of debris for the golf ball to bounce on while putting. For almost $70 a round, y’all have to do much better than this.
Great local course
Friendly and fun. Only thing missing is a place to hit a few balls before teeing off. Not having space for a range maybe a few tee spots with a net. Definitely not a show stopper though. New snack bar/bar is really nice for after round refreshments.
