Terrible condition even for winter golf, no range, no starter, just an absolute disappointment

For December play in Maryland, the course was in fair condition. Tee boxes are pretty beat up. The greens require a lot of repair work. Reasonable rates available on Golf Now. Course definitely challenges you. A fun golf outing overall.

I play there a few times a month and since the new owner took over the weekend rounds take 5 to 6 hours to complete. There is always a group of golfers that seem to think it is OK to have a couple holes open in front of them and enjoy backing up the whole course. This past weekend there were gaps all over the course and it was a 5 1/2 hour round. They overbook then let golfers play as slow as they want. On 12 there was three groups waiting for a foursome with two holes open in front of them. When this group got to the par 3 all but one golfer hit several balls from the tee. If this doesn't change I will find another place to play.

Nice course with varied elevations and good mix of hazards. Tees and greens both in very good shape with great roll on the greens. Fairways in good shape, some very wet spots, some very dry and hard. Found 2 bunkers, one very (too)firm, the other very workable. Had a very early tee time so pace wasn't a concern and had a nice day.

Staff was super courteous. What could be better...there is no range for warm-up and a very small putting/ chipping area. Kitchen didn't open til 10am so no warm breakfast items, bring your own.

Price was ok for our area, $60 for prime time Saturday morning. Food and drink prices very fair. Pro shop had enough items if you forgot something but nothing over the top.

My only real negative comment regarding the course I is the pace of play. It is extremely slow. There should be a Marshall who can speed up slower players or allow faster moving groups to allow them to play thru.

It was my first time there. Check in was easy. Staff was friendly. Small pro shop. Gas powered carts worked well but no GPS. Overall its a shorter course. The yardages on the scorecard at times were shorter than my rangefinder. The tee boxes and greens were nice. The fairway is decent too but lot of leaves and twigs, which I guess can be expected for Fall golf. The rough is not great. Bunkers were mud or more dirt-sand. Overall it is pretty open and hard to lose a ball. It is fun for the right price.

The price was $50 and that included a cart, can't beat the price. We rented clubs and that was out of necessity, next time we'll bring our own! Definitely worth a return trip.

Start at the turn in front of us we left after a whole 12 which took us four hours to play. 12 holes was told it was purchased by new ownership. I’m sure they will get all of this corrected in time. Nice little course.

Overall, course condition is very good. Great price.

Greens are in good condition.

Not too difficult of a track and you make your own trouble so I enjoy every time I play here

New ownership has made great progress. They have increased staffing, initiated some badly needed repairs/maintenance to cart paths and landscape. Was a little disappointed when we played though due to freshly punched greens and lots of top dressing sand without any notification at check in. Most courses automatically give players a discount as an acknowledgment of the conditions too. But that didn’t happen here. The only other thing they could really use - a Marshall to improve pace of play. Our round took 5 hours, which really disrupts things.
