Good winter golf
We got a chance to play in 60 degree weather for 18 holes after a heavy snow the week before. Course was only wet in few bad spots but overall great shape!
One of the wonderful courses in Northern Kentucky
Since the aeration, I had a hard time in green. Otherwise, the course gave me a great time. I strongly recommend other golfers. It is a little strange that I cannot get a hot deal from this course. Golf Now or Golf Pass, please deal with this issue.
Awesome
Dave and the crew have done an amazing job and it’s alway meticulous and well

Challenging Course
Lots of elevation changes to greens. Greens are sloped and tough to read. Enjoyed the challenge.
Willows Rules
KC Golf courses are among the best county courses.
Greens were fast and rolled true. Fairway cut well and rough appropriate.
Good course, pace of play horrible.
Huge back up off the Willows. Was supposed to be a single, but grouped up with 3 other singles in order to help with pace of play.
Course worker came out on the first tee while we were on the green and opened with “we have a problem”, unaware that we grouped up because of the jam. He then made us double up carts because of the price of gas and the carts..okay. Probably should spread your times out a little more.
Not too bad but room to improve
Pretty good condition and fun to play. Real good burgers but a little costly.
—Greens are to slow and grainy
— No water or beverage cart on course
—Cart paths rough in spots
— Need to remove portables on 9 and 15 and turn buildings to left of 9 tee and between 14 green and 15 tee into restroom facilities
Gorgeous
Course is in terrific shape!!!! Greens rolling fast, as usual…. Plush fairways, well manicured tee boxes….rough is punishing so keep the ball in the fairway or be forced or hack it back into play….play this course 10x a year probably….my go to course in the NKY area…. Pace of play is always nice (I tee off early mornings)…. Always smiling in the pro shop, everyone is very friendly… play this course and you will love it!!!
Willows
For $53 a rd you would think the cart path would be in better shape!
What Used to Be…
I remember when playing The Willows was a real treat. I have not played it in a few years but played yesterday afternoon. The condition of the course was average from tee to green. Some fairways (#3 in particular) was in very poor condition. I realize it has rained a few days lately, but the course is not being properly maintained. The cart paths are in dire need of complete replacement. They are virtually impossible to drive on.
Kenton County should be ashamed of this course. It deserves better, and can be returned to a destination course. You will get local play, beer league play, and seniors, but no one should drive more than 10 minutes for The Willows right now. There are better options elsewhere.
