awesome course great layout
This course will challenge you with blind shots and small greens. The greens roll true and your ball is easy to find.
Excellent course for the money
I ayes in the evening and the course was great! And only 30 dollars. There was hardly anyone on the course I was finished with my round in 2 hours.
No rain
It was supposed to rain this day but we missed it all. Course is kind of short but very challenging. Excellent conditions, we had a great time. Hope to play it again soon
Nice but Long wait each t box
Nice course but perhaps over booked. Pace for 2 player group was very slow.
Great deal on a great course.
A good value at $40 I believe. Course is beautiful and in great shape. It's hard though, you better hit it straight.
Shorter Course can be fun and challenging
Love the layout here. Don't have to drive 280 yards each hole. A challenge to par from 150 and in consistently.
Charged by course and golfnow! Fishy!
Too bad!!! Charged twice. I did not give my card at the course, so they must have gotten my credit card info from Golfnow! I'm concerned!!!!!!
Beautiful, well manicured course
Wish I could play this more often, beautiful, manicured course, one of the best I have played in the area.
Remember to bring your credit or debit card !! Can't buy anything with cash, nothing, clothes shoes golf balls, not even drinks or food!!
The course is in excellent shape love playing it !! In as good of shape as any course in Louisville or southern Indiana !! Would recommend it to anyone !! Loved it looking forward to playing it again Chris Ezell of Louisville. The only negative is your cash money is no good!! Can't buy anything with good old American cash!!!
Great Day on the Course
The course was in excellent condition, the pace of play was good and the value for the money was exceptional. True Country Club type course for the price of a public one.
This is a great course
Took my soon to be father-in-law out for a pre-Fathers Day round and the course was in great condition. Lush fairways, full rough and the greens generally had a true roll. I would highly recommend the course.
Only issue is the course does not take cash. Kinda odd.
Beautiful Course
Have to think your way around this course. Hard to play 1st time not knowing the holes.
Very well kept
The course was in very good shape. Much better than most I have played this year around the Louisville area.
Superb Value
Superb value for the consumer. Nice, well kept facility, friendly staff. Course provides a challenge from the black or gold tees while more forward tees are friendlier. I didn't have a chance to use the dining facilities, but the clubhouse is spacious & well appointed. Burgers, brats, & dogs were fresh grilled at the turn; a beer cart was also making the rounds
Best course I've played this sppring.
Local knowledge required here. We played the whites, which is pretty short. Lots of blind shots from the tees ended up in hazards. If we had played the blues probably could have avoided the hazards.
Great course nonetheless. Great conditions. Will play it again without a doubt. Highly recommend that you play this course if in the Ville.
Better as a private club
This course went from private to semi private and then recently back to private. It's clear that whoever is in charge now has fine a better job. Course is back in great condition. Fun course and a great place to play during the week, as it's not busy. Hop on those golfnow tee times, they're a steak out here!
Nice course, some challenging holes
Course in excellent condition from tees to greens. One of my favorites in the Louisville area.
One of my favorites in the area
Polo Fields is a very technical and challenging track. You must be able to hit a straight tee shot on many of the holes as pricey houses sit right next to the fairways. Greens are challenging and nicely undulated. Course has recently been aerated so greens were not pristine yet, but come June this place is perfect. Probably my 50th or so round at PF.
Please Tell Us Your Greens Were Recently Aerated
Have always enjoyed playing Polo Fields,. Course is challenging and is normally in great condition. The only disappointment we experienced this time out was that the greens had been aerated the week before and heavily sanded. After several holes our group made the decision that anything on the green became a 2 putt unless you holed out your first putt. Tee boxes and fairways were acceptable for early season and the staff members were friendly.
first time playing
very interesting course. first time i ever played it. but first off let me say this. Walked in paid my money to guy at counter, as i was walking out he tells me i cant play because i am wearing jeans and a polo shirt. so i had to purchase $35 pair of golf shorts at pro shop.
course was not what i was expecting to be such a high class private course. i will not be going back. almost forgot stopped on the turn to buy a drink but they dont take cash. REALLY had to get a cup of water and ice
