Duckers Lake Golf Course

nice round greens in great shape love the challenge

I played on a beautiful day. Played in 2 1/2 hours. The fairways were in good shape, the greens were firm and true. Overall a very nice course.

Duckers Lake was a pleasant surprise. The course was in good shape and I hit every club in the bag. Several blind tee shots and definitely do not hit driver on every tee. If in Frankfort area I would suggest playing.

Average course lots of blind tees which im not a fan of.

I frequently play this course, and it's almost always a solid experience. The course itself is generally in decent shape - the greens are often some of the quickest greens in central Kentucky. It's a somewhat hilly course, and there are several blind tee shots that make playing this generally short course challenging. My biggest criticism is the condition of the bunkers (usually they are hard) and the amount of bird kaka that can often be found on several of the greens. The staff is great, and the bar is comfortable. Pretty good food and Bloody Mary's too.

Course was in great shape. Lots of hills and water ,no problem as long as you keep it the fairway. Otherwise, hope you play side hill lies well.

There were several foursomes in front of me and the pace of play was rather slow. Granted, I was playing by myself and that made it seem slower.

Overall, the course is in good shape as usual an I had a good time.

Course was busy but moved well, a scramble even went off with 5 holes left, it didn't hold us up at all. Course conditions were excellent, Fairways greens and tee boxes are all in good shape. Fairways are tight and firm, rough is full and not very patchy like you typically see in central kentucky courses. One of the best values in the Frankfort/lexington area.

Nothing wrong with the condition or the people, just not my kind of course. Front 9 was decent, scored well and played in 1 1/2 hour. Back nine was hole after hole of blind shots and waiting. You have to ride up and watch the group in front of you hit and then go back and hit your own. Took us almost double the time and lots of strokes.

Again the course and staff were fine, just not my kind of course layout.

For are 1st time player we found this course really fun and challenging and some unique.

This course has a unique layout and is fun to play. Not the most challenging course in Lexington, but the staff and the condition of the track were both great. Fun and great pace of play.

Lot of blind shots so look before you hit, all hills up and down put fun

The greens were a little ruff had so plugs that didnt getrepaired but all in all this is a good course

I found Duckers Lake to be a challenge, my first time there and not really knowing how the holes layout, blind shots and fast soft greens. I hope to play the course again when I can get down there again. It was the fact of not knowing the course and lack of markers to help you see the dog legs.

This is an interesting hilly course in nice condition.. Somewhat difficult water holes add to the many challenges. Great Golfnow value.

Course is in decent shape. Found a good deal on Golf Now and worth the money on a weekend. Intermediate difficulty. Been playing for 15+ years

Had to leave for emergency after 5 holes, guy in the pro shop was not helpful or understanding. Geese and their poo everywhere, I would never play there again, greens were fast but beaten up heavily. Other people who reviewed this course highly don't know golf courses.

i really love playing this course. i have just started playing golf , and have found that i really should have started years ago.. love this cource...allen

Starting with the positives, the course is beautiful! The scenery is awesome. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition (with exception of one small area of grounds work at the 2nd hole I think it was). The club house and restrooms are clean and very nice. The course is a little short but still fun to play. Several of the greens are out of view from the tee box which makes it challenging, especially the first time playing it. The ladies tee boxes are in great condition, however, many of them are even with the men's or just barely in front of them. Our cart backfired numerous times and our partner's cart had a flat tire by the 2nd or 3rd hole so they had to change carts. There were a couple of very slow groups in front of us the first nine but thankfully we were waved through and by the back 9 we were not held up at all. It also rained moderately during 3 holes but then cleared up nicely. I would play this course again, it was very nice overall!
