Great shape overall
This course has changed significantly in the last year or so. The that of no man's land on the right on number two is gone. All the trees are gone and as the grass grows to catch your ball it is playable. Number four had the trees on the right of the fairway removed so it's wide open. The bunkers are back in strategic places.
Water runoff is an issue for this course. Natural drainage let's you play shortly after a rain. The course has several barren areas with cuts and ditch damage which they are actively sodding and fixing.
Whatever your skill level, playing this course is fun.
Spring Time…here I come
I like the layout and will play gold tees next time. Looking forward to playing in the Spring.
Fun course
Alot of golfers but very well organized. Good layout with a variety of challenges.
Last minute
In from out of town and made a tee time that morning. Arrived early and was immediately able to tee off. GPS carts were very nice. Bermuda grass was dormant but course was still in great shape. I didn't utilize any off course facilities but I would definitely play here again. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Lack of respect
Your members have no respect for others. They will take their time if they are in front of you, and if they are behind of you they hit off the tee box while you are in fairway.
This has happened multiple times now.
Fall trip to Murray
My wife and I got a tee time on Golf Now. I haven’t played this course in several years. It was good then and it was good now. Greens rolled fast and true. The bunkers were lined with white sand and in great condition. Definitely recommend this course. Enjoy your round.
Nice Course
A nice little golf course. I think it may be owned and operated by Murray State University. Or at least have some affiliation with Murray State. Had not played this course in probably 30 years, but played it on this day. The course was in good shape despite the drought that the region has suffered. I guess also because of the lack of rainfall, the greens were lightning fast. Play was great and I, finished 18 holes at right at two hours
Good course
We have always liked this course. It was in good shape all around. Pace of play was the only complaint. Being a twosome stuck behind 3 foursomes was demoralizing after a while.
