Great Layout
Played the course Wednesday night and Saturday morning. Zoomed around on Wednesday. Saturday’s pace was a little slower as expected but we still moved along just fine. Really enjoyed the layout of this course. It was well-maintained. Everyone was very friendly, both the staff and other players on the course. They don’t sell beer though, so bring your own if you’re into that.
Holes with risk-reward shots
Aside from the bunkers, the course was in very good condition. There are rewarding shots from the tee if you can shape some long drives correctly.
Good times
Got to play with my daughter since it is one of her favorite courses. The greens had been aerated a week earlier but still rolled smoothly. Fairways were also in good shape. I have played this course since the early 1990's and always enjoy the condition of the course and how it can challenge the golfer. A good mixture of long and short par 3's and 4's and you have to use the majority of the clubs in your bad. Wish I lived closer so I could play it more.
Nice course
Course was in great shape the greens were fast but accepting to approach shots. Challenging course with undulating hills.

Course being neglected; needs serious maintenance
I have played at Miller for years. The last 3 years the course has not been very well maintained. The fairways are full of weeds, lots of holes in the fairways, the fringes of the greens are full of crabgrass, potholes in the cart paths. When they mow the fairways, they leave rows of thatch. They put a lot of emphasis on maintaining the greens, but the rest of the course is being neglected. I won’t return until someone does some serious improvements.
