The layout on this course is great if you like a good challenge doesn’t have the distance of other courses but has tight fairways to make up for it,

Conditions are ok

Greens a pretty good this year,

Fairways are ok in places

Rough can very depending where you are from thick to non existent,

Sand traps are lower quality

Overall this is a fun course to play

And since Eisenhower is closed this year I will be here allot

This course has a decent layout and some of the holes were in reasonably good shape. However, on several holes - particularly the front nine - there was goose poop on the fairways and even on several of the greens. Management simply needs to do a better job about cleaning things up more regularly than they apparently do.

Walden is a great course from top to bottom. Is very challenging with tight fairways throughout. Greens are in fantastic shape and putt very true. Will definitely be back for more rounds.

Got an awesome deal with the hotbuy during the week. Had to start on the back 9 due to a high school match starting this afternoon. Course was in decent shape, greens still suffering from being aeration, but not a big deal. Loved hole # 11...a par 3 over the water. The course has some challenging holes and is perfect for tuning up your game. I had an overall good experience and would return to this course.

The course layout is challenging but the course conditions makes it a little less attractive but for $17, I’d play it again at that price

I like the course. First time in 2 years. It is challenging and in good condition. Women do not have to hit over many ponds as the men. Thank goodness! Will definitely come again.

Course was wet due to recent weather conditions, but greens were firm and fast. Front nine layout design is much different from the back. Both are good, but back is more challenging.

first time playing the course. for the price I can't complain. I was a little disappointed that they didnt have a driving range. but over a good track to play. will definitely try it again in the summer time.

Weather has not been kind to this course. Fairways are bare. Greens are excellent.

I always enjoy playing at this course. It was in better shape than I had anticipated at this time of the year. They have a very friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to be accommodating.

Greens are good. Fairways are dead and done for the year for the most part. Nice course that was hammered by summer climate weirdness (i.e. climate change preview). Price was low with hotdeal so fine.

It's been a while since I played here but I'm glad I got the chance to play it again. The course was I'm good shape and the pace of play was fantastic. Fairways and greens were in very good shape.

Played Walden on 9/21 And course was in horrible shape. The fairways looked like the rough and the rough was pretty much unplayable.....some of the greens were in great shape other in bad shape. Tee boxes were mostly dirt. Such a shame because I actually enjoy playing this course . Hope they get it into shape quickly

For the amount of money and resources around this area, the course was a huge let down. We've played this course before, and its been alright for the price ($30-$45). This round however was no where near worth the $45 we paid.

Pros:

-The greens were solid and firm.

Cons:

-16 of 18 fairways were in terrible condition. Little grass, lots of burnt out grass, mostly mud and dirt. When you drive the ball down the middle of the fairway 280, you expect to be rewarded. This was not the case.

-Rough was comparable to crab grass in your back yard

-Tee boxes were inconsistent and mostly sand.

-Bunkers had sprouts of grass growing and were not kept

Overall a major let down as we thought this course was making a comeback over the last couple years.

We were fooled, wouldn't pay more than $15 to play this again.
