Golfer Reviews
Worst customer service in golf
I live nearby so I play this course out of convenience. But the management is terrible. The blonde woman in the front office seems to try and prevent people from actually being able to play the course. Multiple times I have been told I can’t go out on the course ( with a scheduled tee time) without a reasonable explanation and when there are other golfers on the course. She is borderline insulting and consistently rude. Bad enough this place is overpriced for what it is, but I can say I’ll never play it again.
Zero help on the phone when trying to move a tee time. Booked through golf now. Tried to move through the pro shop and was told they were unable to do so. Which I know is crap because other courses have done it before.
Great value, excellent grass coverage
This is a great course at the $50 range. 18 came with a cart and the overall layout was properly challenging. It is a little on the shorter side overall, but you don't feel it while playing. The food at the turn is from the 19th hole, so I highly recommend calling in from the cart on the 8th as orders took awhile. The 10th got backed up. Additionally there were a lot of golfers crammed in back to back that ended up causing a lot of delays. It took 5 hours to play 18 on a Saturday morning for the two of us. Not fully unexpected, but the little things made it a 4 star at this value rather than a 5 star. I still plan to come back and play again.
Nice again
Haven't played here in awhile and I was pleasantly surprised, course has come a long way to a very good course. Had a great time, pase of play was a little slow but that to be expected on a Saturday morning. Keep up the good work, I'll be back.
Not a Grip-and-Rip Course
A number of reviews cite the fact that this is a challenging course and I would agree. If you bring your "A" game, you'll probably find it a worthwhile new experience. If not, you'll need plenty of extra golf balls. That's because the woods bordering virtually every hold are not easy to enter to find stray shots. They are thick with undergrowth. If you overshoot a few greens by just 5-10 yards (like I did with my fairly new clubs), you may be pulling yet another ball out of your bag. Due to the layout of the front nine, I didn't hit a driver until about the 6th or 7th hole. A few more holes were driveable on the back nine than on the front. For reference, I hit about average distance for a 40-year-old golfer. So if you like to hit your driver, you may want to use the professional tees (and suffer the consequences if you hit off-line). The condition of the fairways was largely good and the greens were very good. The sand in the bunkers was very different from one to another. Tee boxes were average. Staff was fairly friendly and accommodating.
course is good; no water
This course is in reasonably good shape - the fairways and the greens were in pretty good shape. And the course layout is reasonably challenging. The reason for the relatively low overall rating is that on a day where temperatures approached 90 there was no water to be had anywhere on the course. This is just not ok and they need to quickly remedy it.
Hard to Describe
The layout on this course is great if you like a good challenge doesn’t have the distance of other courses but has tight fairways to make up for it,
Conditions are ok
Greens a pretty good this year,
Fairways are ok in places
Rough can very depending where you are from thick to non existent,
Sand traps are lower quality
Overall this is a fun course to play
And since Eisenhower is closed this year I will be here allot
Nice layout
Course is challenging if and a nice layout. Staff is friendly. Will be back
clean up the course
This course has a decent layout and some of the holes were in reasonably good shape. However, on several holes - particularly the front nine - there was goose poop on the fairways and even on several of the greens. Management simply needs to do a better job about cleaning things up more regularly than they apparently do.
Affordable Play
Got an awesome deal with the hotbuy during the week. Had to start on the back 9 due to a high school match starting this afternoon. Course was in decent shape, greens still suffering from being aeration, but not a big deal. Loved hole # 11...a par 3 over the water. The course has some challenging holes and is perfect for tuning up your game. I had an overall good experience and would return to this course.
Average
The course layout is challenging but the course conditions makes it a little less attractive but for $17, I’d play it again at that price
Good Course with many ponds
I like the course. First time in 2 years. It is challenging and in good condition. Women do not have to hit over many ponds as the men. Thank goodness! Will definitely come again.
Good Hot Deal course
Course was wet due to recent weather conditions, but greens were firm and fast. Front nine layout design is much different from the back. Both are good, but back is more challenging.
