first time playing the course. for the price I can't complain. I was a little disappointed that they didnt have a driving range. but over a good track to play. will definitely try it again in the summer time.

Weather has not been kind to this course. Fairways are bare. Greens are excellent.

I always enjoy playing at this course. It was in better shape than I had anticipated at this time of the year. They have a very friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to be accommodating.

Greens are good. Fairways are dead and done for the year for the most part. Nice course that was hammered by summer climate weirdness (i.e. climate change preview). Price was low with hotdeal so fine.

It's been a while since I played here but I'm glad I got the chance to play it again. The course was I'm good shape and the pace of play was fantastic. Fairways and greens were in very good shape.

Played Walden on 9/21 And course was in horrible shape. The fairways looked like the rough and the rough was pretty much unplayable.....some of the greens were in great shape other in bad shape. Tee boxes were mostly dirt. Such a shame because I actually enjoy playing this course . Hope they get it into shape quickly

For the amount of money and resources around this area, the course was a huge let down. We've played this course before, and its been alright for the price ($30-$45). This round however was no where near worth the $45 we paid.

Pros:

-The greens were solid and firm.

Cons:

-16 of 18 fairways were in terrible condition. Little grass, lots of burnt out grass, mostly mud and dirt. When you drive the ball down the middle of the fairway 280, you expect to be rewarded. This was not the case.

-Rough was comparable to crab grass in your back yard

-Tee boxes were inconsistent and mostly sand.

-Bunkers had sprouts of grass growing and were not kept

Overall a major let down as we thought this course was making a comeback over the last couple years.

We were fooled, wouldn't pay more than $15 to play this again.

Beautiful course. Fairly tight. Only used driver 4-5 times. Some holes have houses in play. Made me a little nervous. Quite a few forced carries over water. Greens were in good shape and rolled true. Fairways were in pretty good shape. Some dead spots.

Paid $27 for 11:20am tee time on a holiday (Labor Day).

Course has a good layout, however the design between the front and back are different. As if it is two seperate designs. Greens were in good shape. Fairways were a bit patchy. All in all, a good course for a hot deal.

Don’t be fooled by Walden’s length. By modern standards, it’s a short course, but if you get out of position watch out. You will lose balls like quarters in an arcade. And the 2nd hole is a beast. Narrow, descending fairway with what could essentially be considered an island green. The approach is a brutal down slope shoot. Hope your comfortable hitting on uneven lies.

With all the recent rain, the course was understandably wet and the bunkers tended to be washed out. The greens were immaculate but, with all the water, very slow. There are some blind tee shots, so it pays to know the course. Overall, a very nice course and a pleasant day.

Rough tee boxes, and many rough around the edges, but hey, you're paying $50. This course is plenty of challenge, if not a little short. Good greens. "Is what it is" good little fall back and probably one of the best at this price point

Greens were in excellent condition! Fairways were "okay," but should have been cut. Several bunkers should have grass, weeds, etc. removed and more sand added!

course knowledge helps a lot but still a lot of shots that require more than standard accuracy

One of my favorite course, I played it 3 times a month last year. I cannot believe that there was not one water cooler on the course. I have no problem with a cart person was not available, but its pretty bad there was no water available.

Course. Was in great shape, only issue is some tee boxes grass is high (I just prefer low tee boxes). Pace was slow.
