Walden Golf Club

I first played this course earlier in the year, and the greens were all dry and in bad shape. The fairway was patchy and also dry. We decided to give it another go and I gotta say im very impressed with all the work they've put in to bring the course back to life. Fresh grass and the greens are looking a lot better. I hope they can keep it up. We will definitely visit again.

Greens were in rough shape, most tee boxes weren’t up to standard & even one had a rake with it because it is all sand. Decent round to play if it’s the only one available & you just want to get out there - I wouldn’t pay full price though. Could be a nice course if they put the money into it.

With fall ball leaves are expected but the amount on the greens are crazy. Bring a leaf blower. Greens are early in good condition. Good course for the value I suppose, during the week.

The course conditions were horrible. The greens were nearly impossible to putt on. The tee boxes didn’t have any grass. This is an extremely tough course if you’re a beginner as homes line the fairways. Almost every hole has a hazard. Leaves haven’t been blown, so you end up losing well hit balls in broad daylight. I will never return to this course again.

It was the worst condition in years. Greens way too bushy...putting was near impossible. Zero grass in tee boxes. Little to no grass in most fairways...and mostly just dirt. It used to be a nice little course...long way from there on this day.

Walden has gone down the drain as far as coarse conditions fairways, bunkers ,greens basically the whole coarse just terrible conditions .The Hoa that runs the place needs to go out and play round see for them selves but they don’t play . Place was great under the Palmer umbrella. I learned how to play golf at Walden when it was private and I truly believe it’s a great coarse just needs some serious maintenance performed. The greens speed was probably 25 or worst.

Walden CC will always be one of my favorite courses to play because of its layout and how challenging it can be. It is also pretty convenient for me as it’s a 12-minute drive. The staff are very friendly. The course conditions aren’t always good, but for as long as I’ve played here, it has been lift-clean-and-place from

tree line to tree line because of its condition. I’ve learned how to play this course and enjoy the challenge it poses. It is definitely one of my favorite courses to play because it makes me aware of where my game is.
