Course conditions were very poor, hence the rating.

We got through the front nine holes at a good pace, but got backed up on the back nine. It took 4.5 hours to play the round. Some of the greens were in poor condition.

It’s been a while since I played this course. The course was very well kept and the staff is friendly. I will play this course again very soon and I will recommend this course to my friends.

The fairways are thicker and taller than the rough on any other course I have played. We legitimately lost several balls that landed in the fairway. We saw countless balls throughout the day on the fairway that were cut in half by the mower because clearly this is a consistent issue. The greens had mud patches and crab grass all over. Some bunkers were ok while others were completely overgrown and unplayable. By far the worst course I have played this year.

Lots of layup holes. Condition of course was lacking. Greens were in some holes very bad. They had some type of grass encroaching onto them. Given it was very wet in some spots with some TLC could be a nice course

Fairways were in decent shape, but most greens were torn up and cement-like.

This place has some of the worst course conditions I've seen. Pretty much every aspect of the course was in bad shape. Tee boxes were half dirt. Greens were burnt out. Fairways weren't much different from the rough. It's a shame cause the layout is actually decent and pretty interesting. It's a very tight course and punishes anything slightly offline. No water coolers and no cart ladies, which just added insult to injury in the heat. It might be acceptable if the price was really cheap, but it wasn't even that cheap at around $60. I could look the other way if this was a $30 course, but it doesn't provide the quality you'd expect at its price point.

I rated this course somewhat challenging because it isn't in great shape, but that may be a function of their budget. They've lost sections of some greens, and fairways are a mix of burned out areas, nice grass, weeds, and other stuff (we've had very little rain in the last few weeks in this area).

The greens are exceptionally slow (5-6 stimp?). I told my wife this is what it was like putting back in the 1960s.

There are also several tee shots where you'll need to work around overhanging branches (on #11, from the forward tees, my wife would have to aim at the bunker to the left side of the green, as tree branches blocked the direct approach. I had the same issue on a few tee shots from the blue tees, which forced me to hit some different drives to keep the ball in play.

The staff and crew are friendly, and with some work/$$, they could make this an enjoyable course. There are a lot of holes with good shot values, but several where you just don't know quite what to do either off the tee or with a layup. By all means, use a range finder/Garmin when playing here.
