Good layout, terrible conditions
Nice layout, lots of quirky holes but good test of different shot types. Terrible conditions. Greens not bad. Eververything else terrible. We have had horrible weather over the past few months, excessive rain followed immediately by very hot weather. Many areas washed out, and many others needing to be mowed. This used to be one of the best golf courses in the area, but I can't recommend it in its current condition. Too bad, nice people and good little restaurant.

Greens good shape and fast. Fairways good. Some very challenging holes. Good day of golf
Frustrating Day at a Great Course
837 Tee time with a foursome of decent golfers and it took 6 hours to play 18 holes. Too many people on the course and no one managing the pace of play. Too many groups using the course like a practice range. Each hole for the back 9 was a minimum of 20 minutes at each tee box and subsequent shots. Love to play this course given the value and great staff but it’s days like today that make me never want to come back.
Poor drainage
Nice course with a challenging layout and was fun to play. Recent change in an attempt to improve drainage have backfired. Play was allowed even when 7 of 18 holes were swamped

Excellent value...nice layout
Enjoyable not too difficult but challenging holes.

We have had a lot of rain lately. Most of the holes had standing water on the fairways. There is nothing the staff can do about this. The greens are in great shape. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The only issue I had was that I called the day before to see if there was a tourney or league playing in the morning. The answer was no, it was just a regular day. As we left the parking lot a group 16 or so went to hole #1 to start their Tuesday morning scramble. The fella at the clubhouse let us start on #10. I was just a little annoyed that I had called and asked about anything like this starting in the morning. Still my favorite area course.

Challenging holes but fair
Course was in good shape. Fairways was wet due to all the rain. But that was not the golf course fault. Looking forward to going back.
Great value...enjoyable track!
Not too difficult, course is mowed nice with no heavy rough.

the greens was quick considering they look like they was punch not to long ago healing good the fairway had several places that hasn't come out good yet but should soon overall the course was is good shape and should be getting better

Greens were plugged earlier that week, putting was difficult with all the sand on the greens, holds water, course was sloppy, mgmt says they are improving course but at a snail's pace, really need to address the drainage problem
Early Spring Golf
Early Spring golf in KY. Greens were newly aerated and sandy, made putting slow and difficult . The greens would normally be fast. Fairways and tee boxes were brown and dormant.
Course has a great layout. You can see how fast greens can make some of the holes very challenging, depending on pin placement. I can’t wait to play this course again in a few weeks.
Nice Pro Shop and Clubhouse. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Greens were being sanded.
I understand they (the Greens) have to be sanded, but the biggest problem was the flags were removed. You had no idea where to chip or pitch.
I've played this course several time and would recommend it in the summer when conditions of the course is in tip top shape.
