One of the best!
I’m Not sure why in 20 years my wife and i have not played here. Yesterday was the first and will not be the last! Course condition was excellent and pace of play was 3:15 and that was because we took our time!! The us a must play in Maine! Great views from the course too!
A nice mix of golf holes.
A fun course, interesting unique golf holes,not boring, course in good shape considering all the rain. Nice views
Greens very good.
Course Unplayable
Course is muddy, wet, sloppy, soupy, undrivable and unwalkable. You will not be able to play your ball down, and if you use a cart, you will walk most of the way. And if you walk, which you will most of the way or all of the way, your waterproof shoes will be tested to their limits. The course needs to be closed for awhile to dry out and to allow maintenance to cut the greens, fairways and rough.
Great Spot to enjoy Maine golf!
First of all- I love this track! From the moment you check into the pro-shop until you leave the bar after the round- you are going to feel totally at ease. The course itself was in great shape- especially the greens. The scenery on the golf course- of a ridge spanning the back 9- was awesome! Can't wait to return- exceptional value for coastal Maine- if the $ of Samoset is too high- play here- you will have a great time!
Very Good Golf for the Price
Course is in very good shape and the greens are excellent - the best I have seen in several years of playing here. Would highly recommend trying it out.
Fun course, fantastic course conditions
A beautiful course, extremely well-groomed and maintained. Nice views and a pleasure to play. Good scoring conditions with such top notch course maintenance. Kudos to maintenance crew. They seemingly work 7 days a week and it shows.
Nice layout
Enjoyed playing RGC. Layout has variety and challenges. Conditions were good and hitting the smallish greens was difficult. Green speeds we're moderate but consistent from hole to hole. All around good experience.
Lush and green
The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it in. Once the greens get mowed down, they will be great. Fairways we're in great shape as we're the bunkers. Staff was friendly, pro shop well stocked. All in all, a good day of golf at a good price on golf now.
Just love it!
My husband and I play a lot of golf. He’s a very good golfer and finds this course challenging and enjoys every bit of it. I am just an average golfer and know I can’t conguer it but it allows me to really stretch out and “give it a go” with my woods and irons! I try my hardest and feel grateful with my score. This is our favorite Maine course whereas it’s atmosphere is casual and the staff is above and beyond friendly! I especially love the views from the 17th hole. What a spot! And then enjoy the coast and Maine at its best!
Duck Boat required
Paid so little can only criticize somewhat.
Course should not be open. Carts on front nine and walk back nine.
Left after nine. Shoes and pants so muddy.
All said would play later in season when course is in playing condition.

The course is in great shape and the staff is amazing. I would recommend that anyone play this course if you have the chance.
Beautiful course on an overcast summer day in Maine
The course is beautiful but can get crowded. Off days or overcast or rainy days are great. Pace of play is well maintained. Always a pleasure.
