Rockland Golf Club

Rockland is a very good course to play and has two distinctive nine hole layouts. While the par 5's are lengthy and challengin, the 3 par 3's as you make the turn are very demanding with two of them being over 200 yards. The par 4's range from 230 yards to over 400 yards so the whole course is a good test. The place is well maintained and the staff is friendly and personable.

I have played this course a number of times & enjoyed it every time. It has a nice walkable layout with a number of challenging approach shots to elevated greens. The beautiful ocean view on the 1st hole is worth the price of admission alone. I highly recommend this course.

We play the course every year. No complaints, two different nines, nice shape,good all around.

Enjoyed the golf course. Challenging but not too challenging. I am not a long ball hitter and this course worked well for me.

The course is old but is in great shape. Not a lot of dog legs and water but it is a fun layout. If your in town for a vacation it is worth checking out.

I played with my wife during the week and we had the place to ourselves. We walked 18 which was very doable. Condition was good.

There was light rain all morning. Tee time at 1:30 PM. Arrived around 12:45 PM and the course was closed. However, I have played this course many times, and the personnel are great, and the course is in good to excellent condition.

A good, well maintained facility with some challenging par 5 holes. We did get a bit confused following the hole placement. Aside from that point it is a nice course.

Very Friendly staff and very accommodating. Had to rent clubs and were able to swap putter for good one.

Having played here every summer for more than ten years, I was pleased to find the course in the best shape I have ever seen it be. The greens are excellent, and the overall condition of the course could not have been better. Were it not for the unbelievable incompetence of the foursome in front of us who kept us waiting on every shot of he back nine and never invited us to play through despite a wide open course in front of them, it would have been a perfect day. The greenskeeper and staff deserve high praise for their grooming of this course and I can't wait to play again.

The greens and golf course was in fantastic condition, the staff was friendly and the beer was cold; couldn't ask for anything more!

Great value for a well maintained course. Fairways were well grassed; greens ran true but were difficult to read. Speed of greens were faster, but just good for me. The greens also were very similar to the practice green.

Rockland isn't the longest or toughest layout you'll find, but you'll certainly get your golf fix in. The front nine had a bit of an "up and back" flow to it, but differing greens help to keep the holes feeling a little different from one another. Back nine is more scenic and quirkier but still feels like part of the course. Overall a good experience and a closing hole that puts a dramatic finish to the of the day with a forced carry to a par 3.

Challenging, and fun. Excellent greens and fairways.
Greens are some of the best in the area. Fair to most average golfers. Some challenging approaches and you must plan your positions.

Fairways and greens were in great shape. Pace of play was very good. Head pro and staff very friendly and welcoming. Will be back next time I'm in Maine.

In the Rockland/Camden area, this is the best choice for a golfer who wants to play a full length course that is well cared for. The atmosphere is casual, and the shop staff all friendly and helpful. Cost of a round is fairly typical for a vacation area, and the course itself is well kept. There are some oddities such as the tenth through twelfth holes clustered in a strange layout, but the course is pleasant to play.
