Bulle Rock Golf Club

Very nice challenging course with top-notch practice area and driving range. The negatives are: the pace of play was way too slow (5 hours), many golfers do not replace ball marks on greens and some holes the rough is way too high which contributed to the slow play, e.g., waited for 2 groups on 18 - about 20 minute wait. While a course of this quality should have high rough there are areas like around the perimeter of some sand traps where it is totally unfair with the high, untended grass. The course management needs to look at where the bottlenecks are and make appropriate adjustments to speed up play so average rounds are 4.5 hours.

Very nicely kept golf course. Very challenging but everyone can play. Only problem we faced was too slow pace of play otherwise golf course in very good condition.

The thing I hated most was carts only on cart path rule. That wastes too much time going and coming back to your cart and defeats the purpose of riding a cart. Too much time wasted during foursome going back and forth to get clubs and identify your ball especially in hot weather.

Snagged a great deal $50 for an 11am on a Monday, pace was good but I wish people would admit that they need to move along because searching for that golf ball here causes backups. If you spend the money to play here, you can afford golf balls.

A great layout and tough challenge. Conditions were less than stellar. Even the nice areas of the fairways were soggy. Lots of plugged balls on tee shots. Greens were okay, but not pure. Rough and bunkers were in good shape. Overall it’s a great course, but not quite worth the $84. Other courses within an hour that are better values.

We played under cart path only so it made for a longer than usual day. And although damp from previous rain the course was in great condition. Challenging because the rough was really rough.

Would love to come back and play on a dry day, so I’ll be back!

Cart path only made it almost 5 hours. The rough was high and unforgiving. Tough enough course from the fairway, very hard when your not. The course has some rough area around. Some tee boxes, were below standard. Recent aeration doesn’t effect puts at all. Always a pleasure to play. Always worth the trip.

Course was in great shape. Difficult for my game. It was a hot and humid morning after big rains the day before. Cart path only. Very nice will play again.

It was very wet rained most of the round. We played the blue tees. Bulle Rock is classic Pete Dye unless your are really hitting it he puts you in very uncomfortable and punitive places that most will not recover.

Cart paths only combined with very wet and rainy conditions made it seem like a very hard course.

What a fabulous course, although I have not played in years since over 90 minutes away, it’s well worth the drive. The course is in phenomenal shape, fairways are like hitting off carpet. Layout is great and many

Picturesque holes. I was able to get a great deal $55 and well worth it. It’s a must play course and extremely challenging. The only negative thing I can say is that we had to start on hole 10, not a fan; however, I was told they do that on Mondays and Thursdays per the superintendent. Great experience and can’t wait to go back, everyone needs to experience this gem of a track

It's a great course. Could be tough if you don't plan your shots just right. Greens could use some help from the ignorant players that don't fix ball marks and thrash their putters into the green because the suck at putting. Grow up fix your marks! Great weather

We played today at a rate of $50 with a hot deal on Golf Now versus normal rate of $84. Tremendous course. Lived up to its reputation. First time playing there and so worth it at that price. Certainly will be back even though I live 1+ hour away. Our foursome enjoy everything about the day. Paid online, so no contact at payment. Club drop was perfect, they pointed to our nearby cart labeled with our tee times and we loaded ourselves up. Used all the practice facility for about 45 minutes, chipping from 50-80 yards, putting green and driving range, all included in the price.. Course was awesome. Not a lot of elevation change(some), but has plenty of every other challenge in golf. Probably not an enjoyable course if you don't regularly break 90. It is hard!!! But fair and fun. We will be back.
