Bulle Rock is the best non-private course in Maryland

This course is one of the nicest courses I have played on the east coast. The service and attention to the course and play was very high.

the courses practice facilities were phenomenal. I highly recommend this course for any golfer of a 20 handicap or less, as it may frustrate a beginner golfer, as playing a real golf course, is much different than playing a typical public course. meaning : you need to strike the ball first ,on the course, a sweep swing does not work well on a course built for true golf play. (fairway build ) We cannot wait to play this course again.

Me and my GF decided to play the highest rated course m we could within a few hours of Philly. I’ve heard a lot about Bulle Rock so we decided to go. When we arrived I will say I was a little upset we couldn’t use the practice facility because it does look top notch. It looked so good we decided to rebook for the next day just to utilitize it. The course was in great shape with difficult but fun holes. I understand that they are protecting the course by not mowing and pressing because if the weather so don’t hold that against them . What I do hold against them however is the one particular miserable staff member who the entire time made us feel like a bother because we booked a late t time. I realized at the end of the round when he was waiting outside the golf shop with the cart attendants. Let’s just say he was rude and looked at us with disgust for not finishing sooner which btw we were 47 min ahead of the scheduled pace they have on the carts. Long story short we decided to cancel the next day t time. It’s a shame because the starter was amazing, course really fun, and the other golf shop worker from PA was great also, this kid however just ruined the experience. All in all great track but def not warranted of the best in the state when you have to deal with workers like we did.

Very nice course although some greens are not visible from the fairways. Well managed and maintained.

Enjoyed the course but some additional course aides would be nice, like better gps or hole diagrams with yardages or something, some extra guidance would have helped avoid some trouble

I've played a lot of golf courses near upper Delaware so I was a bit skeptical to travel West to MD. It DID NOT disappoint. This course is spectacular. The practice range beforehand is phenomenal, giving you an accurate putting green to the course surface, chipping greens receptive to spin from different yardages 45-75 yds. Driving range too. I can't say enough nice things about this course and the friendliness of the staff. I will certainly be back to play again!

Beautiful 75 degree day

. Aerated few weeks back, but still pristine. I was a single and had to navigate through some foursomes, but everyone was happy to let me get through. $90 hot deal well worth it. Don't play two $45 courses. Pay the extra and you'll be glad you did.

Booked a tee time on Monday for play on Tuesday. When we arrived we were informed that the back 9 was closed due to aerating and greens work. We had to play the Front 9 twice.

Here is the issue. NOWHERE was it mentioned in the booking about the back 9 being closed! We literally did not go to other courses because in the description it stated greens(Aeration Alert) were being aerated, course work etc.

Why should we pay full price to play the Front 9 twice?

When we questioned the staff about why nothing was posted they all just kind of shrugged it off.

Disappointing last round before heading north to home from what was a great trip to NC playing Pinehurst and Tobacco Rd.

Haven’t played Bulle is awhile and I forgot how special it is. Went on a HotDeal and got beat up pretty badin the wind. Forgot how undulatting the fairways are. The only flat lie you will have is on the tee boxes. Greens were fast but fair

Only negative was no cart girl on a Masters Eight Sunday? Cant wait to come back. If you are anywhere near the I course do yourself a favor and get a tee time.

Great day of golf! Course was awesome from tee to green!

Got to play a full 18 here yesterday for the first time (was rained out June when visiting family up here). Top to bottom fantastic club, staff was extremely friendly and are welcoming from the pro shop to the starter. Course is such a fun lay out, Pete Dye never fails there. Conditions especially for cold season were great! Green were killer and rolled fast. Fairways and tee boxes were solid. Only downside was I didn’t bring my own clubs! Highly recommend playing here, I paid 78$ and felt like it was a steal!

Course was spectacular, staff was attentive. They had a ranger out who told us after the 6th hole asked if we could pick up the pace a little bit. After the turn he informed us that we were now keeping up with their preferred pace. If you haven’t played this course go do it!
