Would play again
Well maintained grounds and decent pace of play. Fast greens. Some challenging holes, good place to use the driver and also pitch. One drawback was the loop around from the 15th hole to the 16th.... very long walk. Other than that I’d recommend the course.
Excellent course condition
Great day to play! Course condition is excellent. A couple of holes are a little funky but all in all a great course with a very good pace of play especially considering how crowded the course was.
Dissapointed
The greens and Tee boxes were in terrible shape. The fairways were in good shape.
Not Impressed
The fairways are in excellent condition; however, the greens and rough are mediocre. The pace of play was incredibly slow, and the course layout, while fine for riders, is difficult for walkers due to the incredibly long distance between several holes. Management needs to take aggressive action to address the unacceptable pace of play.
Fairway Hills Golf Course
I had another great round of golf with some very nice guys, the course was in great shape.....i only wish they had a kitchen and serve some kind of food, maybe some burgers, hot dogs, fries, something.
Better than I remember
I've played here before, this course was better than I remember. Greens were in great shape as well as the fairways and rough. Nice touch having a separator in the carts so I could catch up with my playing partner.
The greens are in bad shape. They must be diseased. We were very disappointed that there were huge bare spots. Are they working on this issue? The course is enjoyable to play, but if I'm putting 3 times because my ball is hitting bare spots - what the heck! I'm not playing this course again this year unless they can improve the greens.
Always a great round
Best the course has ever looked! We always enjoy playing and brought friends from out of town to play before. Course looks great. Staff was super friendly and helpful and they are running smooth with the COVID restrictions in place. Great job! Keep it up and thank you for letting us get back in the swing again!
Firm and Fast....
Good round during challenging windy day. Greens as firm and fast as I have ever seen. Par 70 design so don't let the short yardage fool you.

i love next to the course. its in pretty good shape. tee boxes and fairways almost perfect. greens even though recently aerated rolled true, fast and nicely. sand bunkers played true as well. great value and good course for howard county and columbia
