Great staff working at Fairway Hills. The greens & fairways were in really good shape , however, the rough was too high, causing slow play. You would have to be within 2 feet of your ball to find it. Would recommend playing this course and will be back. Thanks again to all the great staff @ Fairway Hills.

Short but interesting public course layout. Very thick foliage off fairways, so keep it in play. There are some very long distances between holes. Tee boxes and greens not in good shape; fairways OK but could use improvement. Course moved slowly; it was not crowded, but it took 4 and a half hours on a late Thursday morning/early afternoon; there were three groups on the par 3 #17 hole. Golfnow deal basically gave me a free cart, but the course's rates are high compared to other public courses. Carts have club/ball washers on them. Clubhouse menu is very limited. Staff all very pleasant.

This course is about 45 minutes away and I play it once every 4 or 5 months as I like the layout. Not a fancy place in terms of amenities but they do serve beer so thumbs up on that score. There was a beverage cart but that ended around 4pm - a little early for a summer afternoon. The fairways were in good condition. As good as I have seen them. The greens were in pretty good condition for a municipal course where some players can't be bothered to fix their ball marks. Greens were slick. Fairly fast but more break than I remember from previous rounds. Too many 3-putts for me but I appreciated the challenge. On a few holes long hitters might think they should have played from the tips. But there are a few holes with forced carries that some average, weekend golfers will find difficult but not impossible. This is a very worthy course to play. Give it a try.

Got a good deal plus another cash back to entice me to go 23 miles, middle of the day, opposite traffic. Bug time bargain! A little tight in places but a fair course where scratch to bogey golfers can enjoy the scenic layout and score well. Take advantage of the long shady drives between some holes! Bob, the starter, was a big help!

Good value for the money. Fair but challenging course for players at all levels.

Nice course. One Marshall has a power complex. But good course

This is the second time that I have played this course. The weather was perfect and the course was relatively dead -- so the pace of play was great. The starter told me that 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Sundays is typically a pretty open time.

The course was in perfect shape the day that we played.

The staff was fantastic. They were very friendly. I always appreciate folks going out of their way to be helpful.

The clubhouse leaves a lot to be desired. But then again, I was there to play golf and really didn't spend much time in the clubhouse at all.

We got a great deal of $35 per person through GolfNow. I'll be back.

Challenging!

Slower groups need to recognize their slower play and allow faster, smaller groups to play through.

Extremely friendly staff and was able to complete the round in 4 hours. Attractive layout buy not overly difficult. Course condition was very good too. Will return!

Layout is nestled within an established housing subdivision, but the properties don't come into play. Narrow layout challenges tee shots. Greens are protected by mounds and bunkers and occasional water features. Position off the tee is key.
