Good Value
Play there semi often. The pace of play could improve with some monitoring. Some groups simply refuse to let singles play through even with open holes in front of them. Frustrating. Staff is great. Conditions are good. Food/bar is very nice. Great to see it back in full operation since the current owners took over. Some very challenging holes, but certainly fair once you know the course.
Overbooked golf course
Every hole we had to wait and ball came from everywhere my wife almost got hit.
I will not play unless management do something about over book play.

Good course to play
Very friendly staff overall course in good condition pace of play was great would definitely play there again.

Nice course-a little hilly
I didn't play great there but really can't blame the course for that (although my playing partner did). It had rained a lot recently and the greens and fairways were soft and roughs were thick and lush. My biggest complaint was the staff were mowing the roughs and around the greens and didn't stop for us to hit. They also were wearing no head protection. On most courses they pull over to one side and wait for you to hit.
The cart paths were in very bad condition, bumpy and broken, and in some cases steep to the point they were almost treacherous. If you decide to play this course make sure you get one of the electric carts as the have both gas and electric. The gas cart we used had issues.

Great Value
Best value for 18 holes in Frederick County. I finished in 3 hours on a weekday. People are very friendly. The cart path needs some work:bumpy with tree roots. A work in progress!
The 16th hole was a real challenge, very narrow fairway.

Quirky layout but great value
Unbeatable deal at $15 on a Saturday noon including a drink and a hotdog. Course is in near tiptop condition, fairways and greens are well-kept although some tee boxes show wear. I've always thought that this course is quirky if not outright unfair. I don't mind taking my medicine - I just don't enjoy being penalized but good, solid shots. At $15, it's a great weekend round.
Few flat lies
Many fairways are sloped right to left and many doglegs are to the right as well, but they were in good condition. Greens are good with a lot of contours; however, they were a bit slow. Bunkers were good with adequate sand. Probably the worst part of the course are the cart paths. Pot holes and ramps need repair.
Nice course
You get a free dog and drink at the turn and someone is waiting at the 18th to clean your clubs. Got a fire deal and it was well worth it. Definitely has quite a few challenging holes with lots of level changes and dog legs and sloped fairways. Keeps it interesting.

Course is always in good condition and staff are very friendly.
Poor outing
This course may be a good weekday course but stay away on the weekends. It is overpriced for the course and you will be out all day and waiting every hole.
good potential challenging course,
The course location is away from DC Metro, but worth the driving due to low green fee. The layout is somewhat challenging but green was in not so good condition. In fact, the course can use a major maintenance program.
A Hidden Gem
This course offers something for every golfer. The layout is beautiful, and each hole offers a different challenge. The front nine is a good warm up for the more accuracy needed on the narrow house lined fairways of the back nine. I loved this course and can not wait to play it again.
Average for Frederick
Some difficult doglegs. Otherwise prwtty fair. Easy to lose balls this time of year. Greens and Fairways in good ahape. Tee boxes not so good.

Beware of slanted fairways
The staff was very friendly, and it is a pretty course, but neither of us will probably come back. The blind shots & slanted fairways made the course no fun to play. On many holes, if you hit the ball hard right down the middle of the fairway, the ball will roll off the fairway into the rough (or worse). I've been told that the layout was better before a redesign, but I do not know that first-hand. It takes the fun out of the game when you make a nice shot, but the course punishes you for it.

Has several small elevated greens,few uneven lies.fun crse. to play.Lots of Korean players[M+F].They are very nice &play fast!
