This course is well kept
The greens are always in great shape. Their landscape crew is always dialed in, especially during tournament weeks.
Very Nice Staff
Course was in nice shape considering it's December. The leaves were blown off the greens and fairways.
Staff very friendly.
Major work being done on hole #16 but the temporary hole on #16 and the temporary tee on #17 were fine. Neither was a major drawback. The work has to be done sometime; better now than in the spring or summer. Will definitely go back.
Good course, good value and always in good condition
Very nice course that will not beat you up. Always well maintained. What you see is what you get. No blind shots or mutiple level greens. I always enjoy playing here and travel 55 minutes to get here.
Wonderful golf course!
Beautiful fall day and the course was in excellent shape! We've played there several times and it never gets old, one of the friendliest staffs in the state!
Great city course
We had a great round. We had to play the same 9 holes twice due to aeration. This was listed on the app but in very small print that I had to click on to see.
Good time
We had a good time playing this course. The only negative was that the back nine was being areated. Therefore you played the front twice. The course was in good shape. Good buy for the money.
Terrible time at Clustered Spires.
I was extremely disappointed when I went to check in at the pro shop. I found out that they only had 9 holes open due to aeration of fairways on front 9. I stated that I wondered why GolfNow didn't have a aeration advisory, the man at the desk said it was probably their fault for not notifying GolfNow, that 9 holes would be closed. They were having everyone play the back 9 twice. The round was going so slow, close to 3 hours after the first 9, that we decided to quit after 9. This ruined our golf outing.
First Time
I have been avoiding this course because of the higher cost, but found a good price on GolfNow.
I was told after hitting my first tee-shot that the rule for the day was "cart path only". The starter had already paired me with another single and I felt badly for going to get a rain check - I have a spinal cord injury and have difficulty walking.
By the way, this condition was shared with the starter and he said that there would be no exceptions to the cart path only rule.
After playing 11 holes, and finding no wet places on the course, the Marshall told us the 90 degree rule was in effect. The last six holes were quite enjoyable.
All greens were excellent, with some challenging pin placements, and the fairways were as good as most municipal tracks.
The restaurant menu posted in the cart looked good with reasonable prices. I did not buy any food.
Golf now
If you make a tee time through golf now expect to be treated as a second class citizen. I've never played a course where the staff makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you playing there. Way to many other great courses in the area to to be treated like that.
Meh
I've played here maybe 10 times over the past couple years and this was the worst shape I've seen the course when "in season". The rough was crazy high. The greens were VERY slow and bumpy. The fairways were decent.
The lowlight of this days experience was the staff being completely rigid about what I was told a city policy. The policy evidently is that Golf Now times can NEVER tee off earlier than their time.
This was a very slow day. I signed up as single as a 12:32 tee time. I was on the putting green (near the 1st tee) at 12 and saw that nothing was happening on the tee and hadn't been for quite some time. I decided to ask the shop if I could tee off early and was met with a very firm and defensive "Absolutely not".
It's just such a ridiculous policy, when it would obviously make zero difference to anything. Last year I was met with the same rigidity and was forced to tee off with a foresome with 4 open holes in front of us. Right after us there were 3 groups of local "speed golfers" and the marshals were pressuring us the entire round, even though we played in 4 hours.
This kind of situation would be avoided if they just used a little common sense and didn't treat Golf Now customers like 2nd class citizens.
I agree with you 100%. I have had the same thing happen to me at this course, it's ridiculous. I play many other course using GolfNow, and if the tee box is open, they let me go. Clustered Spires is the only course that treats you badly.
Outstanding
This place is absolutely outstanding and fabulous. I paid $15 to play and would pay $40 to play this place and still feel as tho I was getting a bargain. Very well groomed all around. Very wide and huge greens. Greens are fast undulating and hard to read. Easy enough for beginners and hard enough for the pros. Definitely will be back to pay this course many times.
Great value
A very well kept, straight forward course and a great value, I highly recommend it. I wish it were closer to my home and then I would play it much more often!
The weather was great the day we played but the golf course was not that crowded. Pace of play was normal.
The golf course lay out is a bit tough for intermediate female golfers but the fairway condition was good. The greens have been aerated recently but it was acceptable. The staffs were friendly . Overall I highly recommend this golf course.
Naughty but Nice
We played only Back Course two times because of Closed Front.
I took in the situation.
Great course for the money
Very pleasant day golfing here. Course was in great condition. We have paid much more for courses similar to this one.

I agree with you about this course, and the way they treat GolfNow customers. I don't know why, but they must have a bad relationship with GolfNow. I had still been playing here, because GolfNow had such nice rates, and the course is nice. But, on 10/18/2017, I booked a round there, and when I checked in , they only had 9 holes open. They said they nevered notified GolfNow of their closing of 9 holes due to aeration. I may not go back.
