Great Course
Great course. Got a hot deal which brought the price down to 31 a person. Course was in excellent shape compared to before, nice tee boxes, nice fairways, greens in good shape. Club house staff super friendly. Pace of play was great. Course layout was great. Greens were challenging. Only drawback was no driving range to warm up. Overall great course and will be back plenty of times.
Quiet and friendly
Course was in very good condition. Staff is friendly as always and they have made several improvements. I drive an hour to play this course because it’s quiet and has friendly and courteous staff. Making strives to make the amenities and after play more enjoyable
The new owner has made a lot of of badly needed improvements to the course. They have improved the cart paths, bridges and installed new signs marking the holes. The greens, tees and fairways are in fantastic shape. Hard to imagine the change in six months.
First Time
We saw this on Golf now and decided to play. 1.25 hour drive from our house. Course is pretty in a rural sort of way as we have played some rural golf. Saving grace for this course were the greens, they were in very good condition. Pace of play was terrible. 2 threesomes in front of us(we were a twoesome)that were playing "together" so we waited every hole starting at #1. For the rate of $55/person on the weekend if you have a foursome would be worth it.
Quiet and peaceful
Under new ownership and making improvements to entire place. Looks 100% better and still a great place to play a round of golf
Don't call it a comeback
I've been playing Maple Run off and on for nearly thirty years. It's always been a place you can count on even if it's raining or cold because other area courses will be closed. Apparently they've changed owners and it shows. My first time playing here in a year and I'm impressed already with some of the changes. The cart paths are smoother, greens look great and the drainage looks to have been improved. We had a great hassle free time and Maple Run will be back in my local area rotation. I know they probably hear it a lot but not having a driving range is my only true knock. I think by the end of summer a couple well known local courses will be on notice that Maple Run is back and can hang with the big boys.

Just an overall good course
Staff is always friendly at this course. Love the fact that this is out in the country and the scenery is awesome. Peaceful place to play. Pace of play was good. Unique layout.

Could be a Jewel!
New ownership is investing money in the course and the crew is working hard on course improvements. This course should only get better as the year progresses and could be a jewel of a course in the next few years, if they can get the greens to come around. Great value!

I was disappointed that the course was in such poor shape, but I guess you get what you pay for. I was also not able to enter a score in GHIN because the course is not registered? No one at the course knew about this.

The new owner has made a lot of significant changes that have improved the overall experience.
I’m excited about all the new changes the new owner has put in place. They have replaced the cart seats, painted markers and posts, repaired bridges and cart paths, cleaned up the clubhouse exterior and interior. I’m looking forward to some treatment to the turf and seeing how this course looks in another 12 months. They have bumped up the rates a bit which seems absolutely justified and rates are still very reasonable.
