January Golf??
We have had 2 really nice days in this area for 2023. With that being said this course is usually a wet course. I usually don't play here for 2 days if it has rained a day before. Yesterday (1.2.23) was extremely wet. And that's okay! It felt great to be out in a short sleeve swinging golf clubs!
This is my go to course when money or time is an issue. They always seem to have availability that works and you can't beat the price.
Now the bad. I've played here for 5 years and the tee boxes are in bad shape, even in late spring early fall when grass here grows the quickest. The tee boxes always seem to suffer. The greens are challenging but aren't horrible. The cart path however, where it does exist is in bad shape and there are holes where you don't even have a cart path. Also, the pot holes that just hold water for days is inexcusable.
Pace of play is not always an issue but has been and yesterday would have been but the foursome ahead of us let us play through. While leaving the course they were finishing up 17. They were slow but this isn't the norm.
Rumor is the course was recently sold to New owners and if they just give the place a little TLC this place could easily generate great revenue all year round.
All in all I recommend this course, especially if you just want to get out and play!

Started playing this course last year. Been there a few times over the past year. Great Value Course! fun layout with open fairways and winding through the woods. Pretty fun for all ability levels. The course does need some TLC, the tee box and cart path are a little rough. I enjoy playing this course early in the morning.
Disappointed, I thought that I had booked a four star course.
I drove past a lot of courses to play this course.

Great value course
This is a great course with great holes and wonderful views. The amenities are lacking but you won’t miss them. I could have done the whole 18 again immediately after the round was over
1st time in two years
I really enjoyed my round, the back nine more than the front as the front nine was slow paced This was my first time in two years due to medical reasons.
Decent, accommodating
Other in my group got caught up in DC traffic and they allowed us to just go out whenever he got there (1hr+ later). Very accommodating on a Sunday morning. The course is in good condition. Really the only negative that was exacerbated by having to wait was that they have Zero practice facilities. No putting green or anything. Other than that, good value for money.

Excellent course for the money. Greens were in great shape and challenging. Fairways were also in decent condition. The tee boxes need some work. Over we had a great golf experience.
Not worth it
Mostly all the golf carts have holes in the seat. Tee boxes and greens are not kept up . Paying over 40$ for this course with these conditions are ridiculous
