Willow Springs Golf Course

While not a premium course, for the money Willow Springs is great value. Over the years I’ve seen major improvements to the course. This course is really nice for improving your short game. Friendly staff.

I am new to golf, but I enjoyed the course. It was fun and challenging, and only ate a few of my balls.

How an executive course wouldn’t allow children under 7 is absolutely crazy. This is a par 60 course. How do you not allow kids? Absolutely ridiculous.

Course is fun, personnel are friendly. Get the snack bar working and it will be perfect.

Best Value in DMV. Great place to work on your game.

All the par threes was interesting but it was nice to have some par 4 thrown in. Course seemed newer in that the clubhouse was not fully developed and the traps and greens needed a fair amount of work.

Traps were under repair and greens were slow. Hard to realize how hard to actually hit a putt with the slope. If they were cut tight this would be a tough course.

Garbage course that is poorly managed. And the cart girl only sold water and Powerade. I didn’t expect an amazing experience for the cost but there wasn’t a single redeeming factor. Not worth playing at weekend rates.

This course needs to figure it out. Dandelions in the fairway, bare spots all over greens, and cart path only on numerous holes despite “fairways” not being soaked or burnt out. Lost multiple balls on the course that landed on the “fairway” or the “first cut”. Might as well sack up and spend the extra $20 to go play Waverly Woods at twilight time than waste your time at this course. Also, got cussed out by an employee a couple years back at the beginning of Covid for coming into the clubhouse with my mask slightly below my nose.
