Worth the drive
This course is 45 minutes from my home and I play there a few times a month. Pace of play on weekdays is usually very good. Course conditions are good with good tee boxes and fairways and smooth (although domed) greens. There is a wide variety of holes, some of which are rather challenging; but fair.
The crew in the pro shop are always friendly and helpful.
Greens were in great shape. Better to play this course with someone who's already played it because of slopes and blind shots nice course definitely will play it again
Interesting Layout, Extraordinary Value
Play a lot of courses Northern Baltiimore, Southern PA and this course is an extraordinary value for weekend play and a very fair interesting layout. Significant elevation changes. You don't just automatically pull out the driver on the tee here. Requires course management. Use the course book. Excellent pace of play for a public course. 4:15 round on a holiday weekend.
Tricked up
Played for the first and last time. Golf course is totally tricked up to many blind shots and way to severe sloping. Played on Sunday. Took over 3 hours for front nine . No starter no ranger which is ridiculous when you have a golf course that crowded. Spend your money somewhere else do not appear to appreciate your business.
love to golf
there are several hills and the course has a very bad layout for golf
great place to play
enjoyed it and played from the senior tees that fits my game because I am getting to be 58 years old.
Shot-making required
Saw a great price on Golf Now for this course, and even though it was nearly an hour drive, it was worth the drive. The course has a great layout. Holes are not long, but require accuracy. Several times you are faced with risk-reward options from the tee box or the approach. Tee boxes were a little uneven in some places, but not bad. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were average size, but crowned so the target was small. Greens rolled a little slow but were in great shape. Course is pretty hilly, so we appreciated the cart. My son and I played in just over 3 hours on a Friday afternoon. I will definitely play the course again. Beautiful course.
Westminister GC
First time playing this course. It was a bit of a drive from Silver Spring, MD but worth it after I arrived. The staff was super friendly and placed with with a great threesome. We laughed, hit some good and some bad shots and had great fun. Course is challenging but if you played right and we also had the benefit of someone with player knowledge. Would definitely come back and play it again.
Great course
First time playing the course. It was very nice definitely want to play again. Course was well kept and in good shape
Excellent couse
Regarding the low rate the course was almost perfect and challengeing.
Excellent Course - Can't beat the price
Westminster is the hidden gem of Maryland. Course was in emasculate shape and is a respectable scoring course. Great views from the tee box and great green speeds (except for on #8 where I had a 3 putt LOL). No complaints on this course. The staff is great.
Nice
Nice course worth the money
Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package
We played that same day and I do know they had a starter when we teed off. They did have an hour frost delay which put tee times behind all day. We got off about 45 minutes behind schedule but still finished 18 holes in 4.5 hours. Its a great course give it a try!!
