Acushnet River Valley Golf Course

For the first time since I’ve started playing here, the pace of play was finally quick. The course was in great shape for basically being the first weekend since opening. Off course, the range was open, and it was nice to be able to warm up. The turn wasn’t REALLY open for food and refreshments, but the meat missiles were pretty good.

Love this course. Just wish it had a bar/restaurant for after.

Had a serious traffic tie-up making me late for prepaid tee time, playing as a single. Dana in the Pro Shop and the Starter, Bruce demonstrated outstanding customer service in weaving me in with no inconvenience to any golfers. Beyond that, fun to play in the shadow of Titleist's home. Great layout - go there!

Considering this is a town run course, it was in good shape for this time of year as the groundscrew and Mother Nature are working to see if some grass can grow...

Greens were quick, the traps fluffy, and the staff worked very hard...coming off a 100+ golfer week end)per the pro shop)...and that says it all...

A good course to play and worth the drive...

To the starter, dont work so hard(he will understand)...LOL

Oh, most important...tossed up my first hole in one on 17th...saved the ball, and had the scorecard signed...

I made a tee time as a single late in the week as the forecast improved. I've played here before, but usually only once or twice a year. The layout is fine, if a little short, so driver isn't really needed. Unfortunately, I prefer hitting driver so I took it out every time. The course was in decent shape, especially for my first round of the year and the first weekend they were open. Greens were fine, but the back nine seemed a lot slower than the front. Overall, a decent start to the year at a decent course for a decent price through Golfnow.

Course has more pine trees vs other types, so alit fewer leaves. Staff very friendly and if possible key you out early. A hidden gem.

always in nice condition and has a friendly staff. the greens fees are reasonable so seniors can play more often instead of just once in awhile

Have played this course several times and have always been well satisfied. All aspects of course is super. Looking forward to returning this coming spring.

Day before Thanksgiving, beautiful weather, no wind. Fairways clean of leaves and greens gorgeous. We play here often and love it. Took a Golfnow package 40.00 with cart...we normally walk. Expected a crowd because of holiday, wasn't bad. Called ranger though had a fivesome in front of us. Pace of play almost always slow here. Ready golf guys and gals! 5 stars year round.

Course was in pristine shape. Greens were true and fast. The staff was beyond helpful. The fairways were in great shape and the fall leaves were no where to be found. For the price you can’t believe you’re playing at a course this nice. Any other course in this great shape would be twice as much. One of the best public courses around within 25 miles of Acushnet. Can’t say enough great things about this course

First time out to Acushnet this year. Love the two different course types you get when you play ARVGC. Absolutely perfect course conditions two days before Thanksgiving. Few people out which made for a super fast round. Not a difficult course by any means but certainly one of the most unique and fun courses to play in all of MA. Hard to believe it is a muni. Great job ARV!
