Acushnet River Valley Golf Course

Have played this course many times and love it. Started and person collecting fees pleasant.

Played on 6/19 with one other person. Pace was extremely slow. Started at approx 3:55p. Had a single join us to speed pace up, single left on back 9 because of pace we joined another pair to try and speed it up. Eventually let a single behind us join. Finished at 8:25 and gentlemen collecting the carts says “don’t you have any common sense” as we were going to thank him. Told us we were suppose to be done at 8:20. We were never told we have to be done by 8:20. We finished at 8:25. Man was extremely rude, rolling eyes, pointing to sky and saying it’s twilight. Love the course but will I not go spend money to be insulted.

Great course. Maybe should teach the nan with the white mustache manners and how to treat customers who were going up to you to thank you and say goodnight.

Going to be tough to go back unfortunately.

This is a great course. I wish the clubhouse was open.

This track is in great shape! What I like about it the most is how the layout changes from a woodsy front nine to a links style back nine! Really like this place. Only downfall is the faculty could be a bit friendlier. If this course had a clubhouse with food it could be one of the finest courses in southern NE.

This course is in my top 3 public courses I’ve ever played in Mass. Always in great condition. I love playing this course. Great layout, great condition year after year and always a great price. You have to play it!!

The course was in great condition given it rained 3" in last 3 days. Layout is interesting with lots of room for forgiveness in the fairways. Greens were in great shape however were a little slow given the damp weather of late. This was a fun track with lots of different character - especially the back 9 where you transition to a link's style course for a few holes. Will definitely go back, great experience.

Overall a pretty good. One problem was a shot gun start at 1:00 PM. We understood that there would be a shogun start at 1:00 PM and that it would not interfer with our round because we would be into the back nine by then. The course was crowed and play was somewhat slow. The result was that we were made to skip two holes (13, 14) which allowed the shotgun start to go off smoothly.

We have a group of guys that play a different course every week. This is always one of our group’s favorite courses. As usual the course was in very good condition. The greens were aerated a few weeks ago and are just shy of being fully restored. A few bumps here and there that should be in perfect condition within the week. It’s a short course playing from the whites with plenty of sand, water and wild natural habitat type layout throughout the course making it unique and challenging.

Course was in great condition. Pace of play was excellent. Staff courteous. Highly recommend.

For the price Ladies and Gentlemen with overall reviews no place better.

A group of us golfs there every Saturday.
