The best layout and conditions in this area. Conditions are always great. The other courses in this area could use a lesson from the grounds crew on how to maintain a golf

course.

I play different courses and in 2020 I played Acushnet River Valley the most. It was in great shape last year and I think the best value in the area for the money. The staff is generally very friendly, but there is one starter that is a control freak.

This course is always in great shape. It truly tests all aspects of your game. You must manage the course according to your abilities related to the clubs in your bag. A fun course to play.

Very good course at a fair price. Friendly staff.

Pace of play mismanaged -space better or a ranger on course please

Why. a favorite? Well groomed, fun and challenging but very fair layout, friendly personnel,. Love the outdoor hotdogs!

I played at this course in the early autumn and was happily surprised to see that the course was in very good condition, despite it being a public course that gets a lot of play. That being said, it is always crowded. Every time that I’ve played there, it’s crowded and there are delays on many of the tees. A twosome will always be paired up with another and there’s a good chance that a threesome will be assigned a single. It is sometimes difficult to get a tee time. If you don’t mind a long round, this course is recommended.

Snagged a last minute Hot Deal on this windy November day and had no one near us. Our twosome got 18 holes finished in 2:40. The course is in great shape overall from tee to green. The variety of holes on this course is outstanding, and I was happy to see they cleaned up most of the geese droppings near hole 12. I highly recommend this course!

If you can play this course for under $50 for 28 holes and a cart you’re getting a steal the course is beautiful they say we played it was 36 degrees outside with winds upwards of 50 mph and it still didn’t ruin our experience!

Only complaint is I wish it was closer to my house. Gary the starter is the man. Plus he has a great mustache. Fair course but not a pushover. 13th hole one of the toughest par 4's you will find and its STRAIGHT LOL. LOVE Acushnet.

I've been playing Acushnet River Valley almost regularly two times a week this year. It's in great shape. Actually the best I've seen it in years and it's a great value for the money. A lot of courses charge you more and the condition of the course isn't as well kept up. I plan on playing lots more next season, since this season will be coming to an end soon. (at least for me) I don't play in the cold.

I love the course and hoped to play it one last time before heading south. However, the course policy changed from earlier in the summer. Now I would have to ride in a cart with a complete stranger -- no single rider carts allowed. With my aging body, riding is necessary, and being in the high-risk age group for Covid concerns, riding in those close quarters with a someone not living in my residence would not be smart. I didn't play and, sadly, won't play again under these circumstances.
