Acushnet River Valley Golf Course

I tried to give this place a chance the past four or five times I’ve played. I’d say the last 5 times I’ve booked a tee time I’ve teed off at least a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes past the booked time.

Then comes the part about pace of play. Horrendous. There’s not a golf course on earth that you should wait 5 and 1/2 hours to finish 18 especially with a golf cart.

The waiting times outweigh the benefits of the course track and conditions. Which is very unfortunate.

It’s a nice course but it’s so overbooked that you’ll never tee off at the time you booked. The course is constantly backed up and the starter could care less. We had a 2:45 tee time and by 3:30 we decided to leave because they still had about 8 groups ahead of us waiting to tee off.

Dont let the clubhouse fool you because the course is top notch. The greens were pure and the fairways were wide and tight. From the looks of it all the money goes into the course which is awesome.

Course was in very good shape considering all the rain they have had to deal with. Greens run true, fairways are soft and the ruff is very lush. Bring your A game if you want to score on this course and keep it in the fairway.

Acushnet is usually in good shape but now it is really awesome. The greens are cut shorter now and rolled twice so they played beautifully. Made lots of putts that just got on the right line and went in. The rough was challenging but fair and not penal

This course is always in great shape regardless of time of year. The guy at the desk is as easy as as they come. The practice green is excellent and always consistent with the course greens. The range is more than adequate. This is one of my 2 or 3 reliables. The parkland front mine and mostly open back nine provide a good variety. I highly recommend Acushnet River.

After a wet start to the season most courses are dealing with managing water....not here. The course was in great shape, just a joy to play on a nice day. Just wish they had a nice setup for afterwards...the cool hot dog just does not cut it. All else was all you could expect & more for $50.

In spite of the wet weather courses in the region have experienced lately, Acushnet River Valley was in excellent playing condition. There was not a wet spot found anywhere on this course.

I am relatively new to golf. I am 67 with a few minor physical problems (fake knees) I found the course to be a challenge depending on what tee box you use. I use the Seniors and enjoyed my self immensely.. staff is friendly and the patrons are also friendly..I have made the course my own..

I have taken lessons there with Isaac. He helped me with the basics. I am now far more confident in my swings. I will keep going to this course till I can’t play anymore

This is a great layout with great conditions, fair price point and a friendly staff. Off the beaten path, this place still gets crowded. I come there often, try somewhere else so my group can get on more easily.

$30 with a cart for 18 after 12pm. This course has a great layout and is maintained well! Greens rolled great for being so early in the season and the course wasn’t that wet even though we’ve had a lot of rain the past couple of days. I will definitely be going back!!
